Just picked up several starters sets after years of wanting to get in to Dropzone, loving your content and seeing it improve and you become more comfortable with every video. Hope to build more DZ hype in the southwest!
Just recently started to look into the drop universe. While i'm more interested in Drop fleet, drop zone looks interesting as well. Kind of interesting to see how lists are built with the formations.
It's hard to say, really. UCM and Scourge are the most popular generally as they come in the starter box, PHR is probably next as they're just Better Humans (tm). Shaltari are maybe a bit weird to be popular, and Resistance are unfortunately all resin which makes them a little less accessible. That said, the game is small enough (in both how much it's played and the number of factions) that what your local group plays is probably far more relevant than the overall playerbase. Our local meta until recently had barely any Scourge, for example. You can't really go wrong, so I'd say go with the one that appeals to you the most! - Alex
@@BottomoftheBarrelBatreps, I find it a bit odd (for they are stylish as hell), but there definitely are less Scourge players overall. At least that is a sentiment every forum and blog shares, from what I saw. :D Anyway, thanks for an answer, will probably stick to 'em or Shaltari (sad they have no miniatures that physically transport other minis, but oh well, their positioning manipulation is still really cool).
Great batrep, the fun you all had came across and was infectious! Yes, infantry win games and Soph played the infantry game very well there. I say this as a ucm player, broadswords should drop to E12.
Yup, it's Uncertain Scenery's stuff - as the commenter below said, expensive but fantastic design, really worth it if you play a lot of 10mm scale games!

thank you!
South west of the UK, or elsewhere? Just asking as I'm running a DZC event in Cardiff (South Wales) in June. :)

Yeah! More Dropzone Commander - Thanks for the great report!
It was brutal to watch the Shaltari taking punch after punch on the ground... but nice to see once again, it's all about the mission in DZC.
yup, it's one of the things we love about this game!
Great video! Wanna start and have a wish to boost an unpopular army. Is there some kind of statistics on what faction is more or less popular?

Ohhh i cant wait. Those look awsome.
Interesting game, just so you know, sound was fine on this one, whatever you did has worked.
Glad to hear it! We did pick up a new mic which seems to have cleared up the issues.
and by the way - super nice table!
Subbed! I hope there is more Dropzone :)
More coming soon!
Where is that mdf board from? You've done an amazing job painting it! The armies look great too!
Looks like one of the uncertain scenery boards. Expensive but one of the best designs I've seen to date. May be another source though

Just another typical traffic jam on the I-95 South
