True on coke picked my first 3 bits up today was really sparky tho had to drop sens in field mode today beach was a no frequency shift f2 if your near a nox another nice vid mate 👍😁🏴
There's plenty of settings there mate, all you need without getting complicated. Judging by the performance so far, what more do you really need ? ATB MMMD
I just ordered one, its a no brainer at $254 US, I have an Equinox 600 and I exclusively hunt at the beach but mostly in shallow water so we shall see how it does.

Just a note...on the Frequency Shift option screen there are now just 3 options instead of 5 (F1, F2 & F3). This was changed in one of the firmware updates.
With gloves on, in a British winter, I find the recessed buttons a faff - difficult to be precise as to where the button actually is. The buttons, it seems to me, are not sensitive enough - I had to keep taking my glove off to exactly know where to press for the button press to take effect. I found this out when having to keep turning off the machine to allow my Garrett pinpointer to work without interference. I now know that switching frequency will allow this pinpointer to work but that's a shabby compromise that I shouldn't have to make. Packability of this machine is dubious -- collapses to 25 inch but the control stem doesn't collapse so you still need a backpack with a very wide neck to allow this machine to fit inside. Tones I need to get used to - seems to me that iron and non-ferrous are too similar - unlike other makes where it's obvious. You shouldn't have to rely on VDI - it should be the tones that tell you what's underneath you. Having said all that - I've used its Big Brother, the Racer 2, which is a superb machine, and this looks like it could almost match that.
My friend shows held the ground balance it and shows how the pinpoint two things ground balance and pinpoint shows how it works thank you for sharing this video
5 frequencies? was that how the simplex first came out with the original coil? I got mine after they sorted the coil issue but there are only 3 frequencies on mine.
The Dark Knight Detectorist 5 shifts with initial simplex but after updates it went to 3 and they recognised some pin pointers effect machine so they have added a silent mode with a push of a button so you can eliminate it 👍🏼👍🏼
Hi Sid, I've just got the Simplex and been out twice with it I am digging a heck of a lot of iron and it's all giving me high pitch great sounding signals is this right? Is there anything I can do to stop this with iron? Cheers.
Dirt fishing Newfoundland ive only really used in everyday normal ground conditions and yeah it holds it own against the nox... im still yet to try in bad conditions where the extra features and functions on nox may help.... but as soon as i can find some tricky conditions i will make a video showing results 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

same as all machines... the giveaway tones are there you just have to put some more hours in and you will start digging less.... it will come mate

The Southern Searcher larger iron will trick it, same as most machines

What type of screen does it have? Will it scratch easy?
Shawn Rogers all screens can scratch, a screen protector would be a good idea

theNachoDawg coke is usually in land and its the chard coal ect from fires that becomes magnetic... looks like coal but super light weight
