I'm wondering if the 99.9% black applied on the sides of a lens or the inner side sections of a camera, would improve a photographic image being projected on a sensor? How would it act with all the anti reflection?---- COPIED COMMENT - MAKE POPULAR
It would absorb a lot of heat as if it absorbs the light, The lights gonna build up heat and you'll basically burn. The heat might not penetrate the fabric but the heat will make a heat aura around you. And at regular black you can feel that, so the darkest colour will basically cook you more than well done steak. There's even a chance the shirt will burn as the light wavelengths can easily be turned into heat and since it absorbs over 99% of all light that means that there's also a chance the shirt will burn. So a bad idea, Don't give it to anybody. Unless you are a picky cannibal.
The difference between his calculations and a multi-million dollar tool is mostly an order magnitude of EXACTLY what the measurement is, down to a far more finer decimal. He openly admits to estimate compensation for the ISO halfway through the video. Vantablack is 99.6 while VBx2 is 99.96 in best situation. He ripped an image straight from Wikipedia for a reference photo of Vantablack. The video isn't called darkest black ever, I'm sure he's aware he's comparing it to a specific iteration. Companies need to know far more information than an educated guess for several reasons, such as enthusiasm and money for R&D, as well as practical wide scale replication and use. This dudes just here to entertain you for 10 minutes.
The youtuber is misunderstood the physic law . You can look up for Thomas Young , a physicist . He found that light doesn't reflect but it disperses like sonic wave
@@hughienewind2608 bro you get this wrong, we only see things in colour which are reflected feom white light, so the reason we are not seeing anything when he pullls light on black object is that all the light is absobred, and,....whatever this is enough and my english really sucks now sorry.
If possible can you try an experiment that I came up with. The things you need are an empty room, a light source and you inside the room. What I have in mind is that , when the light source is turned on you are able to see the walls of the room because they reflect light from the light source. But what if we make the surface of the walls so imperfect that in whatever direction light may hit the wall it does not get reflected to atleast a single point in the room. Which means if you observe the room from that point, even if there is a light source in that room, you would not be able to see anything like the wall and the ceiling in the room.
Bootymaster I was thinking mirror floor an ceiling and a dim light in the room, mirroring you infinitely upwards and downwards, while the walls seem non-existent.🙌🙌
Jewce Man that is actually something out of my nightmares, where I would like turn on a light in a room the light itself would be shining but no reflecting would occur in the room.

This is why the moon looks white/silvery even though it's color under normal lighting varies from dirty gray to almost black. It's because the unfiltered sunlight hitting the lunar surface is so bright that it overpowers the darkness of the moon as it were.
Mate that common sense
so what youre saying is, without the intensity of the suns light, the moon is actually approx sharpie black

So you're going to paint your entire room with a hole in a box?
I’d buy a shirt made from that
Hello Hi that shirt would be dangerous at night since it absorbs 99.+% of light which make for the drivers not see it
But it would be impossibe bcus ita literally a hole on a box.
Make a hole in your own body :D
Best night camouflage ever, full black suit with this shit
Everybody automatically owns one of those shirts, seeing as the hole is literally air & we all have air, right?

Imagine wearing a shirt that is colored with that black color he made
you mean holes ?
Bravo six going *KFC*
you would fry in it :P
It would absorb a lot of heat as if it absorbs the light, The lights gonna build up heat and you'll basically burn. The heat might not penetrate the fabric but the heat will make a heat aura around you. And at regular black you can feel that, so the darkest colour will basically cook you more than well done steak. There's even a chance the shirt will burn as the light wavelengths can easily be turned into heat and since it absorbs over 99% of all light that means that there's also a chance the shirt will burn. So a bad idea, Don't give it to anybody. Unless you are a picky cannibal.

Scientists use multi-million dollar lasers for measuring reflectiveness. This guy uses his smartphone and says its better.
Damn, thats too much info to understand
@@hughienewind2608 bro you get this wrong, we only see things in colour which are reflected feom white light, so the reason we are not seeing anything when he pullls light on black object is that all the light is absobred, and,....whatever this is enough and my english really sucks now sorry.
@@hughienewind2608 Wat - Young never, ever said that. What are you on?
If possible can you try an experiment that I came up with. The things you need are an empty room, a light source and you inside the room. What I have in mind is that , when the light source is turned on you are able to see the walls of the room because they reflect light from the light source. But what if we make the surface of the walls so imperfect that in whatever direction light may hit the wall it does not get reflected to atleast a single point in the room. Which means if you observe the room from that point, even if there is a light source in that room, you would not be able to see anything like the wall and the ceiling in the room.
Imagine being in a room with walls painted this black
Tbh I was thinking about it I would probably go crazy
Lanterns wouldn't even work
it drive me crazy if the ceiling was white with a light in it. then id be standing on void
What the hell makes you say that lanterns won't work?
