An excellent, no-nonsense demonstration on how to quickly set up and run a Simplex. I’m excited because I have my new Simplex arriving this afternoon, and I can’t wait to use it. It’s actually been over 25 years since I last swung a detector! I look forward to following your guidelines, and having a practice run with it in my back garden. Fingers crossed, I’ll eventually get some ‘permissions’ in my locality (South Staffs). Keep up the good work Sid, your videos are always helpful, entertaining, and inspiring!

yes mate, also a little tip for beach detecting... if you do the same settings, with the discrim set with 2 bars disc'd out (iron tone is normally 0-15) anything else is a digger, 14 - 16 can be very thin gold chains and small earings ( also foil and tiny trash) so if on a area you have possibility of finding gold any signal is a digger, even the iron tone that comes through as you will hear the iron tone from 10 -15 as 0-10 is silenced now... hard to explain in text... hope you can understand.... if not message me on facebook and ill talk you through it
