Mike has done it all. Most of what I’ve been doing, I learned from Mikes videos. From supersets, hitting a 100 reps, benching with bands, pyramids etc. Always getting that stupid pump. So great to learn from one of the best in the game. Ez money baby👊🏻
I would be absolutely done after those incline sets. When Mike side, "ight now we ready for the flat bench." My heart went out to that mans triceps and chest.
That would make sense to say if the guy was at his full natural potential, which he is not, he can develop more muscle, hit more calisthenics for that raw strength and define himself build up the durable muscle fiber and myofibril muscle tissue. Something that requires time and knowledge to acquire. You are dropping words just because…
Mike says he's pretty good at gauging how much someone could do. Man he is right. I just knew that jump to 2 plates and a quarter was gon be too much, but he was on point.
Went from 300lbs too 226lbs in 8 months and when i tell you Mike Rashid deserves a lot of credit form education and motivation.!! Thanks Mike.!! Keep doing what you doing God bless.
Mike, I appreciate this video. I'm guilty of having a drastic change in my weight when declining, that's partly due to the fact that I usually train alone so I don't push myself as hard, nor have a spotter to catch me when going to failure. After watching this, I fully understand to benefit of going to failure. Please keep doing what you're doing and continue to share.
Mike is no joke the best trainer I’ve ever seen.. pushes people way past what they think their limits are and you can see this guy he’s training is excited
Sir Rashid thanks for the K.I.S.S approach. I like how you break it down. I'm a 42 yr old truck driver trying to get back in it. Your vids are very informative and inspiring. Continued blessings sir and thanks for taking the time to reach back and help the next one. Props to you
I'm training a up and coming female power lifter and she never did incline. I had to school her on these inclines. Doing them is harder then flat bench I been doing them for years. Thanks Mike for confirmation.
@Real boxing Fan1 Its also proven that incline bench works upper part of the chest fibers more than flat bench. Its also proven to be more difficult. If a beginner power-lifter would like to increase strength the sensible thing would be to increase benching also. This would actually be more beneficial. But thanks for the opinion though. Have a good day!
Thor Aka The Mountain the world's strongest man does incline bench to increase overall strength. That should be good enough for you and any power lifter.
YOUR TEACHING IS WHAT I BELIEVE IN I DONT BELIEVE IN THOSE CONFUSING TYPE OF EXCERSISE I BELIEVE IN KEEPING IT BASIC AND GOING HARD TO SEE YOUR RESULT ESPECIALLY WHEN COMING DOWN TO CHEST WORKOUTS BENCH PRESS IS THE WAY TO GO
Good teaching mike, most of what you were teaching has been instinct for me especially were you told him to train at the 5 on the decrease till he couldnt get 5. I did that without anyone telling me.
Mike stretching, I'm hearing that without it growth can be a struggle, I have not seen you do much on the advantages & disadvantages of stretching. Thanks for consistently adding value.
Love this style so many of these powerlifting guys are always talking about like just doing all these straight sets and making it look easy maybe that works for them but I’ve never been able to get stronger unless I was training like this to failure and pushing myself every work out!
This is the exact training that I need , the process & all of the intracacies, You want to understand what you are doing and why, you need to know what to expect, when you train in a certain way, I get that with Mike, I appreciate you!
Very uplifting video my brother, as ive noticed that you are always helping people, you overstand the principle perfectly, that Giving is Receiving, its just a blessed joy to see this as within this time its a rarity my bro. Just continue to shine the light of positivity, and keep up the great work of inspiration and motivation my brother. May The Most High Continue to bless you and keep you. Jah love.
Cam works out at the same gym with me in Florida. He never mentioned being on Mike's program. In the gym you have to respect the weight and you have to respect the person.. We all come from all walks of life but with the same good in mind. No need to disrespect someone doing very light weight compared to someone doing heavy weights.
Wow. This really blew my mind on how mike Rashid do things. I’ve been using the normal bench for 2 months now and I made a lot of progress. After I hit my one rep max I’ve been plateauing. So I’m going to implement incline press on my workouts and do a lot of push ups.
YOO Mike said " if they dont understand what your doing, they are going to feel like they need me, and I don't want that". To many people are stuck on the art of manipulation, that they forget how to teach. Thanks Mike for the lessons. Some of my progression is due to your lessons. GOOD LOOK!!!!!!!!
Fuck this no fap I feel sick my face has gone pale chest pain my right leg feels weak 7 months no masterbation I managed to lift heavy but my health is bad
I recently started back in the gym after two years off. Seen my upper chest needs serious work so I decided that I was going to mainly do incline exercises only when working my chest. Now after watching this video I'm game as hell. Huraaaaaaa!
I‘ve done chest (incline bench/ seated shoulderpress/ tricep ropepushdown) yesterday & legs (deadlifts/launges/legcurls) so far & i really took my time especially on the first exercise & then kinda just let it flow & im having so much fun & feel like its really working so far 💪🏻💪🏻 let’s see in a few weeks
Mike's videos are always informative. Gives me new things to try when i work out. When i do incline i work with dumbbells bc of my shoulder issue. Flat and decline i use the barbell. I use resistance bands too. Those help alot too...he right when he talks about going to failure.
This was my approach to get my bench back I was 175 maxing 335. I’m now 169 even and max around 295. I’ve been doing dips seated rows and incline to get back. Good advice as always big mike
"I train for performance, I don't worry how I look, if you train at a proper capacity aesthetics comes with that." This is true, fitness industry likes to make it complicated but lift right, eat right, rest right.
I kind of do this routine but in reverse. I love my flat bench I move up 5 lbs every time I go. Hit chest 2 times a week. But I start at the top of the pyramid and work down because the gym I go to the people there aren’t good spots or really in the mood for it. So I’ll hit heavy whatever I can get for 3 reps 3x3 then down about 20 lbs 3x5 then down 20 3x8 down 20 2x12 and end with a close bench of 135 until failure. Then I’ll hit incline on the smith machine at 185 for 5 if I can get it go down 10 lbs and go to failure etc. then I’ll hit the chest press with 2 plates and go down in 10 lb increments. Then fly machine at 130 for 10 and just work my way down the stack then end with cable flys 5x12 at like 40 lbs. I thought I did volume until I started watching mike and it’s pushing me thanks for the vids and advice
I have been loving doing the incline presses. I had to lay off of them for a year due to some shoulder issues, but I am back to some decent weight on them. I am fearful of going over 455 for reps though because I start feeling it in my shoulders around that point. I have also found that each gyms incline is slightly different angles which has seemed to really help also. Good video! Keep up the great work!
I think ur one of the new legends in this game bro,ur one of my mentors and I hope to meet you one day.I call ur style of body building “Mental Body Building” & “Power Mental Bodybuilding”. Your like the Bruce Lee Of Bodybuilding bro,(go see his past videos,he’s not human.Any way all I’m really saying is “Thank you” I’ve learned a lot from listening and watching ur videos.Ive seen them all.Peace To Da Gods 🙏
mike I follow damn near everything you say when it comes to the weight lifting thanks, very helpful in my daily workout! advice is free but it has value!!!!!
Just applied your knowledge to my chest workout today & damn even surprised myself on how strong my incline can be when applying your methods & strategies ! Thanks OG keep grinding !
Mike is just a straight up good dude. Character shines through.
agree
He for sure is bro

Christian Cabahug you heeeeeeeeere! 💪🏼😁
Strongaholic hell yeah lol. I’ve been a fan of Mike for so many years. I use to try and kill bench press back in the days cause of his style.
Good dialogue in between sets to help him recover, very smooth. Mike is the Truth!
Mike never gets excited about anything he's so relaxed
CookieDee11 yeah he’s hard to read, probably some bad ass killer!
@@lampkin9287He's like a jacked Ice Cube.
I'd be afraid to see him any other way lol
I would be absolutely done after those incline sets. When Mike side, "ight now we ready for the flat bench." My heart went out to that mans triceps and chest.
He's a natural dude. Can't handle that volume, g😂
That would make sense to say if the guy was at his full natural potential, which he is not, he can develop more muscle, hit more calisthenics for that raw strength and define himself build up the durable muscle fiber and myofibril muscle tissue. Mike says he's pretty good at gauging how much someone could do. Man he is right. I just knew that jump to 2 plates and a quarter was gon be too much, but he was on point.
Lamarr Dreaux Hmmm, but the guy had to lift his butt and back off the bench while pushing with his legs to get the bar up.
Id say 255 would have been a good heavy weight
That gym is spaced out perfectly. At my gym you can't even rack the weight without bumping into someone
Tell me about it
Yeah my gyms the same mann lol
Rubbing shoulders and shit. it's annoying lol
Lol
Noticed that too
Mike literally destroys him with incline and then he like "Now you can hit the flat bench" 🤯
Insane! LOL
Sicarii I just pissed my self laughing Lmfao!
probably feel like rebirth the next day... all the pump.
its all low volume though good for strength
u obviously have never lifted lol
Who else is gonna be on that incline bench grind for a couple weeks? At least no one uses the incline at my gym!
itsrio 🙋♂️
for some reason im actually stronger on incline than flat😫
itsrio I am I’m amazed I can do 225lbs easily I thought it would be more difficult
Same
That's my favorite exercise actually. Builds overall chest n strength better than anything
Went from 300lbs too 226lbs in 8 months and when i tell you Mike Rashid deserves a lot of credit form education and motivation.!! Thanks Mike.!! Keep doing what you doing God bless.

Thanks for the tip on incline press. Gotta strengthen my upper body!
Standing press (not push press) is great for helping build upper chest and will help your bench go up.

This guy is probably one of the best trainers I've seen in awhile. He actually guides you through conversation. Good shit!
