    I wonder how well this type of doors work in the winter. Could the glass end up stuck in the up position preventing door opening or damage the glass?

      In most cars when water drips between glass and the window seal it could freeze and block the window.

    Ap1 on a 2016 Model S can see the speed limit signs it’s not a big deal in 2022.

    Later try the 53Amg eqe with 680hp that would be faster than this One i like this car and the eqs a little more. It's a beautiful car i would take this One compared to M3 because i like a front dash with speedometer etc like this eqe or eqs. I think M3 misses that its too simple

    Too bad Tesla haven't brought the new Model S/X to Europe here in summer of 2022. Every time any of us reference to the Model S/X when testing new cars, we are referencing to a much older generation. I have only driven a 2015 Model S and that was not really positive over my Model 3. The Raven was a great improvement, but latest with the Plaid-generation they have come of far that the vehicles cannot be compared anymore. Removed ~150 kg of mass, brand new interior, new motors, batteries and the heat pump. Just so different yet nobody here in Europe have tried any of it 1,5 years after the introduction.
    EQE seems lovely for those who are into that, remove 500 kg and make it more sporty it would be a better fit for me.

    The center screen is too reflective… I have piano black panels in my car, and they annoy the hell out of me and they’re only a fifth the size of that screen…

    I own an M3P. I did a test drive with an EQE350 and found that while the comfort and refinement of the drive were excellent, I detested the interior. It felt like it was designed for some oil sheikh in Dubai, it tries too hard to be "refined" and comes off as tacky, there was an overload of buttons, lights and a lot of materials are a plastic piano black including all the controls on the steering wheel are haptic and also covered in a plastic piano black, the dashboard is gigantic, it's wide and high and reduces visibility. Also the trunk is disappointing, no sub-floor compartment and there is no frunk despite it being an EV designed from the ground up.
    Besides the ride comfort I was disappointed considering the version I drove was €90k.

    The first thing I thought is "How busy and complex is that interior?" What a mess of dials and switches. I thought we would evolve. Also, all that makes it look small. Finally, why is it a 43? 4.3 litre engine? Marketing is stupid.

    All german awd cars seem to be very heavy and quite inefficient. How does Tesla manages its efficiency? It must be drivetrain, software, good drag and low weight.

      @@KDR816 range is good because of the big battery. Yes EQS and EQE have good drag but frontal area is still bigger than many cars.
      There's a reason why Mercedes will start to build their own motors.

      You'll be amazed how much insulation + double glazed glass weighs in on a Mercedes. It's like comparing gas cars. Do you want a car that's efficient? or you want a car that's comfortable. Not all cars have the same consumption. Not to mention suspension, insulation on the inside of the wheels. etc

      @@KDR816 Well, compared to a model 3 long range it is not low. And the model 3 is the benchmark with which all other cars need to compete with.

      If you would have listened you would know that he mentioned the ID5 AWD as an efficient car - so not all german cars are inefficient with AWD.

    Вот такое впечатление что у старых и авторитетных представителей есть какое-то табу на нормальный передний багажник. Что у Вага, что у Мерса, что у БМВ. В этом случае же там ничего нету, двигателя переднего нету, ну максимум только рейка и чарджер и все... а по длине - треть всей длины машины... просто возишь воздух под капотом))))

      там много места занимают фильтры воздуха (опциональные), но в целом согласен, было бы здорово иметь больше пространства. В ЕQE ужасный багажник, к тому же открывается как у седанов
