It's my opinion, Kim's Convenience is one of the best comedies on Netflix, if not the best show on Netflix. It's that good. So glad to see Paul Sun-Hyung Lee's dreams of being in Star Wars come true.
And can we talk about how diverse the show is?? I saw every single race (and sexuality) just in the first few episodes of season 1! And they are regular appearances. Not just hollywood token people. I love the show so much.
@@wenmoon834 It was a very positive comment so I'm glad it was mentioned. It is bad to say this show is diverse? This show feels true to life; you see every race, gender, etc. Though these may not be the show's main focus, it's still there. I mean, it takes place in a huge city so yeah, it's nice to see everyone represented. I just don't understand your snarky reply to her comment.
It is so funny, especially to anybody who has more than a passing knowledge of Korean culture (i.e. you have spent a lot of time in Korean homes, not just some fan of K-pop music); one of my good friends in high school and college was an immigrant and so many of the things on the show are so spot on. His umma would bring us in plates of fresh out of the fryer mandu (dumplings/potstickers), plates of chapchae, bowls of bibimbop and of course endless kimchi. Too bad he didn't have a sister like Janet. :D
Kim’s Convenience is sooo good. Really glad he landed the Mando role; he’s a very talented actor and definitely brought charm to a potentially throw-away character.
Happy Birthday Paul Sun-Hyung Lee. UR incredible legend! I love Star Wars The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Ahsoka. Those shows r awesome and pretty badass... seriously!!! The Book of Boba Fett was awesome as shit. Ahsoka was incredible. I love Ahsoka. She's amazing, strong and beautiful Jedi. That one is totally awesome. The Mandalorian is hardcore. Love it. I enjoy the action. The movies were my first favorite. Said that many times. Yup. UR amazing Paul, full respect and support u. May the Peace be with u Captain Carson Teva. From Harlingen Texas. He and the actor who plays his wife on Kim's Convenience make a cameo in Dark Matter. There's actually a funny blooper if you look for the full bloopers for Dark Matter.
I watched Kim’s Convenience because of Paul’s performance/his appearance here and becuase Simu Liu is Shang Chi. Definitely worth watching. Wholesome show that has a wide range of comedy
He plays a cool character on the Mandalorian. Just a true, good guy, cop in the service of the New Republic. Almost kind of like a Canadian cop, at least an idealized nice one.
Anyone else feel like his dialogue with Cara Dune was terrible? "I served during Alderaan" and "Did you lose anyone" were so cringeworthy. Alderaan wasn't even a battle. The Death Star jumped into the system and leveled the planet. If Earth were destroyed it would be pretty dumb to ask an astronaut on the ISS if they lost anyone.
APPA SNEAK ATTACK!
I didn't even realise 😭😭
BEST 😂😂😂
I love his way of apologizing! He just nods his head and says okay lol 😆
you know things 😳

When Teva left the cave he should have said “Okay, see you”
So apparently Dave Filoni is a huge fan of Kim’s Convenience which is one of the reason Paul Sun-Hyung Lee was able to land this role.
Definitely going to be checking out Kim's Convenience.
I like it. It's better than fresh off the boat imo
funny show
What network or streaming service has it in the US?
@@JaimeWulf netflix! CBC should also be available to americans and it's free there I'm pretty sure
@@JaimeWulf I found it on Netflix.

I can't lie this narrator's voice is pretty relaxing to listen to. Its really nice and unique. [Accent]
Was waiting for him to say SEE YOU!
Interesting point, Paul Lee is also an active member of the 501st Canadian Garrison so he has a long history within the Star Wars universe :)
I watched Kim’s Convenience because of Paul’s performance/his appearance here and becuase Simu Liu is Shang Chi. Definitely worth watching. Wholesome show that has a wide range of comedy
He is really a nice guy, member of the Canadian Garrison in the 501st here in Ontario.
Lol, my wife literally asked "why does this guy look so familiar?" When we were watching Mando last night.
I thought it was Angry Joe with old man makeup
And Umma wound up for a brief stint in the first season of the Expanse...
He Rocks that beard like no one else
He's been great this season! I really enjoy seeing him in the orange pilot jumper. I think his character and performance fit well with the show.
“Plenty of Seasons to come” 😢😢😢😢
and now he was cast to be uncle iroh, man please do a good job, for me is the best character on ATLA
Appa?
I miss you Mr Kim! Season 5 please come quick!

I saw in The Mandalorian's closing credits that Horatio Sanz also starred in Episode 4,Chapter 12.

I called him Fat Morita after that hapkido episode.
Mandalorian vs Jedi
you would think they would make a flight suit that fits him for the episode...
Damnit I’m disappointed. I coulda sworn he was one of the original xwing pilots from the original trilogy
Looper could you do a video on the sitcom "Married With Children".? I'd like to see what Al Bundy and family have been getting upto since..
Never seen him before.
He seems like this generation's Mr. Miyagi.
Kim's Convenience is a good show.
Its Appa 🥺
Anyone here after seeing he’s playing Iroh??
He's the Asian Uncle Phil, man.
Because he looks like karate master from karate kid
Its Appa the King of the Convenience Stores
I think Disney should create a show that focuses on different characters a and story lines .

This guy has been in other things in Canada and USA .
