Who knows, but, it is quite possibly the creepiest explore I've ever done. With an astounding level of decay Artifacts and history, Salford Crescent Police Station will go down as one of my most nerve-wracking and stunning explores yet.

I remember this Police Station from the age of 6 years old. They let Domestic Abuse allowed. Our dad chased my mum here, She was to Scared to get out of the car, Locked the doors, pressed the horn. They came out, did duck all.
Great Architecturally Designed Building! If the Police do not require it for their use now........ Let someone with the skills to turn this building into favourable alternative use!!! Do Not Demolish....That's INSANE!!!

I've been binge watching your vids all day r kid and they are top keep them coming clarky nice one.
I know you're probably getting bored of me saying "I've been in there" to every place you visit...but I've been in there ! We did a tour with the cubs when I was kid, back in the 80s. Upstairs, there was an "exhibits" room...one being a guy's thumb persevered in a jar of formaldehyde. ( Apparently it was bitten off in a fight).
No way man I wonder what other appendages they had hidden away then lol and am I heck getting bored this is why I do it m8!

Great video guys, I have quite a bit of insight regarding this building because my mum was the head of lost property department at the crescent from early 90’s to around the turn of the century. At that time the lost property department at the Crescent police station was also responsible for taking control of and storing all of the GMP’s evidence prior to court proceedings etc. They also held all of the firearms and drugs that were seized from raids as well until they were destroyed. When I was a young kid if I wasn’t feeling well and had to stay off school my mum took me to work with her ( times were different back then ). I was told to stay in the main office of the lost property department but naturally every now and then you get mischievous and wander off. What I can tell you is the whole of the basement within the building was dedicated to the lost property department. each room was absolutely full to the brim on the metal shelves and wooden brackets , full of stuff seized belongings, guns and drugs. When my mum first started there her boss Bill took me for a tour around the whole building apart from the holding cells and custody desk area. I’m in absolute shock as too how much the place has deteriorated in such a short space of time.

Bro, u should try n do ordsall hall. Haunted as hell. This place was still in operation when i moved to salford, i remember when the built the new one on the precinct. Me, lee and tony joy and otto malone would go down claridon baths n head to the chinese chippy outside. Great days

Salford's full of ghosts. I visited my aunts (grans before her) terrace in '79. I was sleeping in the front room when a ghost grabbed my leg. I felt no malice (one of my rellos) but it frightened the shit out of me. My cousins dad was a Salford cop. Maybe he's the ghost at the old cop shop. The whole of England smells like rot to me.

I go to Salford Uni, I love walking around here - Though I do have to admit, I always feel nervy when going in. My Uni announced that they intend on knocking down the buildings to the front (the 60s ones) and developing sites around it, unfortunately I think they intend on buying this land and knocking it through into an extension of the old Fire Station (also uni owned), though I would assume the police station has some protection - So not sure how true that is.
Also, its likely anyone in the building with you are also Uni students

In 2006 I think the building was used as a set for a programme called the Innocence Project, it did only 1 series and starred Lloyd Owen as professor John Ford. It was quite good. When the building was abandoned for the shiny new station down the road, the Uni took it over for a little while.

Was in there as a teenager! Police sargent gave me advice when talking about being pro boxer! He said his daughter wants to be a dancer so he says to her if you're heart can jump over bar!! Your body will follow! And it's same advice to me and keep myself out of trouble and keep wot I want do! I became a pro boxer! Only man to walk out in Salford as a pro with St George flag and name English and born hope hospital Salford! Felt I was doing something patriotic! Never had no amurter boxing! Came from unlicensed boxing fighting ex pros and hard men! But in end turn pro! 3 pro 3 loss! Messed about! But last one was in Salford and did my dream! My trainer told me to take it easy in 2nd rd over stopping fight! So had two choices try for a quick knock out Or fight the fight and get it to end! So got fight to end and lost on points! But lot still said i won! But rather lose on points than get stopped in my home city where came out with St George flag! Moral victory of walking with my county flag in Salford was a victory! Sargent advice was helpful and I turned pro and really Only reason i wanted be a pro boxer to walk out in Salford with St George flag and name English born hope Salford! Our country flag gets banned! Advice good..keeping out of trouble..don't no about that! Irish Scottish on my dad side and English and Romania Jewish on my mum side but born in Salford with sir name English 😂😂 Great video and good to see! Fk that me going bk in there 😂

You definitely would have to get over being agrophobic damn quick if unfortunate to have been in there!!!What stuff went on in this impenetrable zoo for all those decades, the building kind of says it all yet probably a respectable place in the 1950s before becoming a brutalized hell hole by the 1970s - only the police quarters looked inhabitable so the inmates in 2005 would have been driven to insanity to get out of it or fake madness to get into a psychiatric hospital with slightly more humane facilities, I know I certainly would have done!!! The Urban Collective Holy shit mate you have just earned yourself a new sub recently found your channel during lockdown of jan 2021 as of writing this happy new year by the way from an article i read on facebook that mentioned about your channel cant remember which it was now and watch couple of your videos already i too am from manchester live near swinton way so usually when we could prior to covid got the 36/37 bus to town and always used to go past salford uni and the police station you went in but never knew it had been abandoned prior to covid happening seen it on the outside looks all spooky looking but never knew it was a police station i went on a school trip think it was just about remember it where the fire station bit is in the square opposite the uni where you filmed through the window near the end of the video remember going there and was all full of Victorian stuff on show but man what a place that is it defiantly looked a bit like the silent hill games and had that eerily feel too it bet its amazing and spooky to walk around in at night i too would love to explore there and do what you do with you am in to ghost hunting and yes i do watch most haunted lol liked that bit you put in at the end about derek hahaha god bless hes soul now though :( but love what they do and like the history side of it not heard anything about since about it being knocked down or anything prob wont be there for much longer and i bet now after lockdown you wont be able to get near the place if its still like that especially with todays security and health and safety in charge

@11:11 - that seems to be a a crime/evidence file for a burglary at Langworthy Road Primary School..I think it say two lots of fingerprints (women's/men's) found on a Perspex window at the point of entry.
We actually saw quite a lot of stuff like that m8 but I could only really show the stuff that I thought I wouldn't get done for you know its a bit dodgy sometimes! Im thinking of somehow releasing unedited versions of these explores somehow one day so people can see the reality ya know!

Nothing much worse than Brit food. The Salford transport cafe food was shite. I'm an Aussie and gotta say ours is catching up.
There is a shooting range in the sub basement and upstairs there is a witness protection area with a private room with a wardrobe in it and a private cafe area light little kitchen area and downstairs there was the staff bar and upstairs was the staff canteen what was burnt out

I could be wrong but I think they used the building in the captain America movie the first one, I know the streets double up they litrally drive round market Street in The morning car chase but the buildings are all cgi..✌️

Yes. On the back parking lot (where the fuel pumps are) the back of the building has some steps down to the windows that are now covered with metal protectors. On the right side it's pulled back, just have a slim waistline 😂

The Urban Collective went there a couple of weeks ago had no luck of finding a way in! Thought some people might know a way.
You can still get in, at the back down the steps there's a row of windows at ground level, covered in metal sheets. One of the windows is broken into
