Thanks for the upload. I actually took a bus up there this week just to look at the bus station, as I hadn't been up there for about 30 years. I didn't even know until I got there that it had been knocked down and rebuilt. I was so disappointed. Good to see your video, to remind me of how it looked.

Omg i never new this place had closed down ,i use to come here all the time to catch bus back home ,,Mind you it's been well over 25 years since i been there , i moved to Blackpool 22 years ago , and never been back to either salford ,Manchester and Bolton , Thats why i love watching your audits Clarky,So big thank you for showing places i once walked

Hull also one of the worst for abandoned bus stations, they are flippin everywhere! I lived there 95-7 a time when car drivers still a growing mobility option - why local transport services are a shambles in UK. The social connections going by bus was such an integral part to peoples lives in the past, but now anyone boarding a bus acts suspiscous of one another and staring at their Apple phones or whatever!!! I rely upon buses to get about to know this. Another massive chunk of social integration dimminshed, so palpable in this amazing video I THANKYOU a million times over.
M8 that's all part of the design or the "Agenda if you will need nothing own nothing want nothing and rely solely on your masters. Sounded rediculous ten years or 20 years ago but it's all being implemented to full effevt as we speak... The conspiracy is now a reality and a lot of people are still asleep. I just wanna open a few eyes to what we are loosing at a rapid rate. Soon enough we'll be digitally connected from birth and they will be able to switch off our life support at any moment the support being our new digital hand outs... And if anyone's reading this comment in 20 years time then click the like because I was right ;) lol

Saw your Instagram post about this. I used to use this place on a daily basis in late 80s to early 90s. I love your stuff but I feel a lot of sadness that these places are left to rot or just get demolished.

@8:21 - that was a kiosk that sold sweets/drinks etc next to the cafe' . There used to be a hot drinks vending machine there too.

wow am from swinton way but do remember getting the 36 37or 68 think it was one time when i went with my friends from college one time and got of at the far side of the stop there remember that and man seeing clarky jump out of hes skin with that guy there lol such a harsh way though to be living like that back then

Haven't seen this place in a very long time
Used to get off the bus here to do my Saturday shopping or go to go swimming at the Splash Centre, then hop back on afterwards to go home. Such a shame that the place got closed 😥
YepbIve many a story about the old splash centre unfortunately I dont think I ever went but Im not sure? I must be getting old lol

I was kinda sad to see the bus terminal go, but I'm sure people around were sad to see the Bolton Steel Works getting knocked down which used to occupy the spot. That used to get goods taken to and from the Crook Street Goods Station, just beside the Great Moor Street Railway Station, which now resides under the Morrisons petrol station, of which only the back wall remains!
I used to have hot Vimtos in that cafe when I was a little kid . Still live in Bolton, but like many have stated it going right down hill. Albion’s gone too now, shame was a d cent pub

Thanks mate, even though I live in Bolton I only found out last year that it'd shut down the year before as I seldom go into the town center as it's a dump and haven't used public transport for donkeys years since the idiot 'Tories' privateised public transport so it's cheaper and quicker to get a taxi.
