Depends on who "we" are you are talking about being lucky and what your idea of luck is. If you mean, "we lived", that is obvious. I'm lucky there, but not the half of my house that blew away.
I don't get it. Some boats are on land and then others are at the dock next to others that look like nothing happened. I'm not clear why some boats stay put and some get thrown on top of another, or clear out of the water.
And because it was so much bigger and moved so much slower hurricane Charlie was just as intense, but it was a fraction of the size and it was moving at 17 miles an hour versus 2 miles an hour
