“And golden syrup, we all grew up with that”
Every American: “I have no idea what that is.”
Full disclosure, I DO in fact know now what golden syrup is and it can be found in many international sections of most American supermarkets. In the southwest, some of you may find it is very similar to dark agave syrup, that’s a close comparison. In general though, it’s safe to say that most Americans know of corn syrup, maple syrup and…..that’s about it when it comes to liquid sweeteners.
Chef Mike never disappoints.
I am glad to see that Chef Mike and Gordon Ramsay have managed to bury the hatchet and now work as a team. The hero we never knew we needed chef MIKE !
After years of resentment, Gordon and the dreaded microwave finally collaborate....
Hello Nice to meet you
'once that's nice and smooth, it should look a little granular'. Wise words Gordon 😂
The dislikes are from the food wasted from hell's kitchen
There would be atleast 700,000 dislikes

The only reason I watch this video it's to see if Gordon is doing fine. Love your cooking.
But didnt you murder chef mike

My wife and I just went to your Naperville spot and was not disappointed. The tuna tartare was amazing. First time for that and couldn't get enough of it. As well as the wellington. But we think the show stopper was the sticky caramel toffee. Never had anything like it. Ty for the great experience. Looking forward to more.
I wish I had any of these ingredients now I'm dying for one 😭♥️
2:05 I am the watcher. Your cooking shows are all important to me
gordon: *mad at chef who use microwave
also gordon: *use microwave
Let's be fair, he did say "in certain situations", and explained how this is normally made. He also mentioned this method is if you want it quick. Don't be a dingal
@@ryanlivengood7098 i know better than to comment anymore. I baked professionally for 20 years(bagels, bread, pastry, and there are fewer and fewer good bakeries so it definitely hit a nerve but you’re right I should’ve cut him some slack because the method does in fact work.
Using a microwave to reheat yesterday's food is what he hates.
8:44 - Gordon: Time please?
Camera guy: 2 minutes 1 second
10:21 - Gordon: Time please, how long?
