I have the utmost respect for him he seems a rare person with integrity, but I cannot see him going far, the elite would never let someone like him go far, he is honest and really has the feel for the electorate, he does have all the right answers and never seems to double-talk and try to avoid answer, we need someone like him to run the country, but I don't think they will let him.

I love this guy. Darren, brought up in a council flat on a council estate, seen and experienced hardship and fought his way out without ever forgetting his roots. Compare this with Sunak, who has no empathy for struggling people, never seen hardship, had his future mapped out for him and never forgets his roots. 😂😂

However, a commercial lawyer is usually hired to potentially company profits.
Does it help the worker, and their pay and conditions?
Does it help the customer to get a fair deal?
Here's hoping that someone hired by a Corporation ( BT) previously in Commercial law, now an elected politician, will represent the interests of the electorate.😊

12:10 "we've got to make the case for investing in the UK"
UK has done everything possible to demonstrate that it is not only incompetent in "industrial policy", but aggressively self-destructive, and delusional.
UK is like Venice, full of exceptional relics, but dysfunctional in any current sense.
I can personally attest to the destruction wrought on small international businesses which flourished before Brexit.
No reason at all to place confidence in UK as a partner.
No incentive to bail out the UK

It PRIORITISES multinationals and destroys uk completion. I’ve worked on many UKRI projects and they all ultimately fail, or basically are a hand out to a multinational.
