Darren Jones, what a breath of fresh air. He grew up in the same part of Bristol as me, Lawrence Weston aka L Dub. It's a run down and neglected area with a lot of poverty. He might sound posh but he's actually very down to earth. I'd like to see him become PM in the future.
Darren is the sort of person who will bring back respectability into politics. He has shown himself to be a true servant of the people, asking telling questions that need to be asked in the committees he has been involved in and a thoroughly likeable person, one that you feel will always have your back - the antithesis of what we have been used to under this Tory government.
This guy will be a Labour PM someday. Talented, intelligent and honest. What a breath of fresh air considering what we have had to put up with for the last 14 years, but it wont be long now..... Bye bye tories, hopefully for good!

Darren I have listened to you many times I would say you are more from the centre right what are you doing in Labour or perhaps it is best to stay there to give it some tolerance, there is no hope for Keir Starmer and his warmongering
Jones performed well at the Post Office enquiry and although it’s clear he is no socialist, it is a shame that he couldn’t properly acknowledge Corbyns support whilst establishing himself as an MP.
Darren Jones, The only man in politics brave enough to honestly answer "yes" when everyone else would obfuscate, Then proceed to completely own it and justify why he's right without batting an eyelid, All whilst being overall a pleasant and funny bloke. Is this real life? What's the catch

The concerns he’s raising are legitimate unfortunately. Italy, and Hungary are already far right. France is lurching that way too. Germany is on that path. Fortunately Poland recently pulled back from the right. It’s unclear whether the EU we left will be the same organisation in five years. France has driven policy for decades in the EU, so them being unenthusiastic or even mildly willing to sabotage it is a real risk to the project.
