      she was actualy watching the glass of a shoe's shop and got the shoes to put on her grave, I don't think she is GONE, but she is probably happier with her pair of shoes.

The most commonplace is zukin, which is a standard word for hood or kerchief. Several of terms are simple and descriptive, like hitaieboshi meaning forehead hat, or hitaikakushi meaning forehead-hider and kamikakushi meaning hair-hider. The most basic term of all is sankaku no shiroi nuno. This means triangle-shaped white cloth."

    • @melopuss375
      @melopuss375 2 ปีที่แล้ว +39

      @@skurafn8805 proper 2D animation workflow is done not head-on but pose-to-pose. which means they don't draw frame 1 then frame 2 then frame 3. instead, frames are divided into 3 categories: keyframes, breakdowns and inbetweens.
      keyframes marks all the distinguishable poses at their most well-defined. breakdowns marks how one pose is supposed to get to the other, and inbetweens are breakdowns of breakdowns which conveys no further information but makes the animation smoother.
      this was the system used pretty much since commercial animation became a thing. it makes syncing animation with audio incredibly easy. just note when the sound cue lands, work out which frame that translate to, make that the keyframe and work the rest out from there.
      the most it took was middle school level math. if sycing animation with audio really was as hard as the comment suggests waves of animators would be jumping off of buildings everyday to escape having to animate talking characters.
      with modern software, animators can actually just import the sound file into their software, which would provide them with a frequency chart and real time-scrubbing, and they could literally just scrub and find where the sound cue is and avoid what little math there was in that process.
      so yeah, was trivial to begin with, and even easier with software.

    This is a context commentary because there's *serious misinformation around this video.* This is *NOT* a tribute to a dead daughter at all.
    DeepL translation of the description:
    "I participated in FRENZ2013!
    The picture quality is a bit degraded and the frames are a bit skipped....
    I was so impressed by "Singin' in the Rain" that I had been working on this idea for about two and a half years.
    I'm glad I was able to give it shape.
    It's a great movie, so if you haven't seen it, please do!"
    This video is a tribute both a tribute to the movie Singing in the Rain and Gene Kelly, who passed away in 1996, who was recognized for being one of the best Tap dancers there is (hence the magical tap dancing shoes featured in the video).
    If you can see in the background, there's a lot of references to this, and the song "Moses" is from a scene from the same movie!
    Please stop spreading misinformation that this is a tribute for a dead daughter of something of the sort. Even in 02:22 you can see a picture of the ghost featured in the video sitting next to Gene Kelly.

    I like the side references to the film like the coats and hats hanging on the rack from the "Good Morning" scene. Also the doll on the couch for when Donald sang "Make 'Em Laugh" and not to forget the studio fan and light that I think is a nod to the scene where Gene sang "You Were Meant For Me." Not to mention the obvious set for "Singin' In The Rain." I really enjoy classic films almost as much as I do modern references to them, it was really pleasant to watch this :)

    Very impressed by how you combined classic American animation with classic Japanese animation, the old timey music also helped in the mood a lot. It was adorable and sweet. Honestly I do wish we could see more of these characters, the Japanese ghost girl and the possibly invisible ghost that haunts the tapping shoes.

    This animation got me through some very hard times. I was living in some very bad conditions, in a cramped 6 x 8 room. But putting this on and just flailing around pretending to dance alongside the ghost was a very bright light during those times. Every so often I come back to this, and I feel like none of my problems exist anymore. I know it's been years, but thank you so much for making this.

      well this came out of the east, and there's certainly no lack of traditional 2D anime these days, it's only in the west where studios decided 3D is the only way to go anymore

    • @johndavidtibbetts7320
      @johndavidtibbetts7320 10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Kronic Shade that mostly has to do with the fact that parents dont tend to take their kids to 2D movies anymore because they think that there's nothing in 2D for them, which is BS of course but hey. Now if a movie is in 3D on the other hand, they'll think that there'll be something there for them. Which is why princess and the frog bombed, and tangled and frozen were big hits. Its all in the 3D
      japan on the other hand takes its animation VERY seriously and will pour out money at the drop of a hat for a new 2D anime

    • @Ketharuil

      Why would it matter to anyone if people were here for the anime aspect in the first place? This just proves how anime can be used as, and is, an art form. People need to stop being ignorant and give up those wrong negative stigmas and stereotypes that plagues the genre in America. Anime is simply Japanese animation and is a style that is utilized for everything from fine art, children's stories, young adult tv shows, blockbuster masterpieces and yes, sometimes even porn... just like any other art form out there.
