Hello my friend, I am wanting to do this trail before the snow comes. Is it a very muddy trail? Are there a lot of creek crossings? Would it be an enjoyable adventure? Thanks and Keep Exploring The Outdoors.
The trail was absolutely awesome and I did not encounter any mud at all even after an inch of snow had melted in the northern half of the trail. Only a few creek crossings and I never got my feet wet one time the entire 56 miles. I think there are five shelters along trail and plenty of camping areas as well. Highly recommend it!

Great video, Jason! Our entire family just spent 2 days in Allegheny NF. We attempted this trail, but needed to cut the full loop short due to some severe lightening. Still a fantastic time in a beautiful area.
Thanks Randy! I would love to go back to that area again. Sorry you were unable to complete the loop....lightening can be scary! Seems you have had a few encounters with lightening over the years, lol.
It was a nice trail to do if you happen to be in the area or combining it with another trail like we did, but I would never drive that far for just Minister Creek. Thanks SkinnyG!

Planning a backpacking trip this summer to hike the NCT thru the Allegheny National Forest. Thank you for some preview of some of the forest ✌🏼
