- It's time for a new team to assemble. The resident super villain, Jay Washington is back at it and this time its for the FIRST TEASER TRAILER for the long awaited team up film, THUNDERBOLTS*.
After numerous, reshoots, rumors and name changes. Watch along with Jay as he sees the grouping up of Ghost, Yelena Belova, Red Guardian, Taskmaster, US Agent and Bucky Barnes and see if as always the anticipation matches the wait and so much more.

The dark avengers 😮
That what they literally are~ Avengers represent the Ideal and best of Heroism in humantiy, While Thunderbolts are real people with flaws and inner struggle, that what make us human, no body is perfect.
The arm being in the dishwasher is fuccing hilarious to me and the best part of the trailer.

I think they're gonna either be the Dark Avengers or the Secret Avengers.

The revengers
More than likely, Bucky is working with the US government to apprehend the Thunderbolts and that's why he goes after them. And after they say their piece about Val, He joins them to take her down in exchange for pardons from the United States. I've been saying it ever since the added the asterisk to the end of the title. This movie will end with them being the Dark Avengers.
That's why the asterisk is there. They aren't really the Thunderbolts team. It's all a ruse, or a test to see if they can hack it as the new, public facing government sponsored Avengers team. And they are all criminals, past criminals, or less than morally sound individuals.
I honestly don’t think even Marvel knew who Avengers Tower was sold too(maybe DOOM, Norman Osborn, or KINGPIN), but now has a found a way to work that in imo which I’m cool with…
Them supposedly being in the old Avengers tower makes me even more certain that the title will change to “New Avengers” by the end with them becoming a more government backed team and maybe even being revealed to the public.
Hell , some might not even make it to the end and we could get additions such as the Sentry or even Val’s assistant “Mel” (rumored to be Melissa Gold/Songbird).
0:50 Why does everybody keep saying this? The Thunderbolts in the comics were NOT named after Thunderbolt Ross. In fact when the original team were lead by Citizen V (Baron Zemo), Ross isn't even mentioned once
They’re going to call them the “New Avengers” in-universe because Val will want them to operate with a positive public image, but this is 100% setting up Dark Avengers.
New Avengers are a different kind of thing. That would be whatever team Sam eventually assembles with Shang-Chi, Carol, She-Hulk, Spidey, Wolverine, or whatever full-on good guy heroes.

The asterisk is a placeholder for the real title "The Dark Avengers".

3:49 Imagine in the next trailer they add Thor like lighting effects to Sentry by making his eyes start to glow orange and instead of lightning bolt energy swirls have them be 🔥 fiery orange surges of energy just lashing around like the lightning effects on Thor…then it transitions into all those 🔥 rifle blasts shooting at him. That would be the definitive glow up. I can’t wait to see how they treat Sentry powers because they should look aesthetically like a mix between Thor, Captain Marvel with a little Johnny Storm sprinkled in, only more powerful than all of them combined. Treat him like a human nuke that factions of the government are fighting for control over while Bob is fighting for control over his own mind.
Deadpool + The Dark Avengers = Oh man.

I'm right there with ya, Jay... The Sentry's involvement makes me think this is going the Dark Avengers route... they could certainly pull from that run in the comics.

In the comics the Thunderbolts aren't named after Ross for some reason that never really made sense.
Yeah, also thinking the Captain America movie will have a post credit scene with Bucky or a other member of that Thunderbolt roster in it.
Both Sentry and Hyperion are Superman-types from Marvel so you're def correct on both.
With Sentry, they already introduced Strange's spell to make people forget so audiences will be more willing to believe it.
This was the first video I watched from u and u seem very cool and nice.
Also while I’m here can we take a moment to acknowledge Ghost low key stealing the show in this trailer? Her powers look cool af in this kind of film.
I think we get a Red Hulk appearance here too...
I'm loving the Terminator imagery in this phase.

I don't doubt that. I definitely think they will be "The Dark Avengers" or The Avengers that the government will line up, but I don't think that will be the new core Avengers cuz I think Sam Cap is going to form his own team with ppl he has worked with in the past and that will cause confusion for the future of theze films.
