In edge mode, use the select > select sharp edges command from the header, you may need to select and deselect some edges manually, then move to the sidebar, in ITEM tab, set edge data:bevel weight to around 0.3. Next, add a bevel modifier and change limit method to weight.Then you can press ctrl + 2 to add subdivision. I hope this helps :)

Why cant I extrude the vertices? I move my point with G to the top of the hood and when hitting E to plot my points, nothings happening
try Alt+E instead

Cars are amongst the hardest things to model, dont be disheartened
Keep trying , it took me 2 years to actually completely model a semi decent car , consistency is key
