I’m now 70 and have worn makeup since I was 15. Through the years it’s necessary to adjust and change how you apply and the color you need. What worked even 10 years ago no longer applies because, well…things change.…this helped so much. Thank you!
I'm concerned about the amount of powder she used.Not a make-up artist , but some who is almost 71. I have trouble with powder, and cream blushes are less likely to settle into wrinkles thru out the day. What does she look like in 4 hrs?

Yes, she’s truly mature, but she has ABOVE AVERAGE skin!! I don’t think she is typical if most 71 yr olds. Sooo lucky to have such good genes! Most of us have more wrinkles, bags, & dark under eye than she does!

I am 67, and this was delightful to watch, and what a beautiful difference makeup can make. It helps if you are already attractive, of course, like this lady. What a difference around the eyes, and what glowing skin was accomplished.

I just turned 68 this month. Years of ill health, living in hot dry Arizona and years of not paying any attention to my skin has landed me looking just terrible. WIsh I could find someone like this talented hairdresser who is now showing she is also talented at make up. I am going to continue watching her videos, and when she does someone with my complexion and other issue areas, I will write down all the products she uses and get busy buying the whole tool kit including the proper brushes , sponges etc. I have never used anything except Ponds for dryness, and cover girl foundation and eye shadows and lipsticks. I was never a "girly" girl, more of a tomboy, then in later years too busy taking care of other people to pay attention to me. Now is the time to shine for a few years and prove that the cutie I was when young is still there, just needs a tune up.

I’ve worn makeup since I started work in a bank when I was 17. Now I’m 65 and instead of the mad rush of getting made up I used to do, now I find it quite cathartic to put on a whole face if makeup before I go out anywhere special. I pare it down for everyday use, but eyebrow pencil, mascara, a tinted moisturiser and a lipstick which sometimes acts as a blush, are essential.
She must has been a beautiful baby.. As age advances, she’s still beautiful & sweet. Love from Malaysia 🥰

Oh my ~ I am 72 - almost 73 & you gave me hope ! I am a blue eyed ,natural 'dirty' blonde' & have worn glasses for most of my life. It seems no matter what I do, my eyes get lost behind the glasses . Believe it or not, I am finally starting to show gray around my hair line ~ but am ready to embrace the gray !

I 've been looking at make-up vids for the mature lately. I 'm 67 and feel I need to learn a little about some of the techniques to make the most of make-up now. Most videos just leave me feeling confused and bewildered. I have no idea what most of the products are and they seem so expensive and specialised. This was the first demonstration that used products that were recognizable, familiar and I would be able to purchase easily . That was amazing, by the way.

Great job! I’d say this video proves that no matter what your age, you keep trying to look your best. Some women just seem to give up. Second, application is more important than buying a ton of luxury priced makeup products. I’m 71 also, and I try every single day to look as nice as I can.

My 2nd time watching this....once 2 years back, but forgot to save you, and Praise God, found you again today!!!!! I can't believe how much I have watched makeup channels and have learned so much. But after watching this one again let me say, WOW to YOU, Sharalee!!!!!!!!! You are the best artist, sweetest demeanor, and so professional but Genuinely kind and sweet! I am SO glad to see how many subs you have! You are my Top #1 person to watch, now! I'm, too, am a Christian and love your presentation! And...WOW, How very talented you are!!!!!!!!!!!!! This woman looks amazing!!!!! Yes, she was pretty from the start, but I learned so much watching you apply everything! I could tell you were having to work longer and harder to get pigment from the drug store eye shadows! I do know there is a big difference in both high and low-end brands. Same for skin care.
I am happy to say I have taken excellent care of my skin since 16 and am now 63. Yet, nothing we can do about circles under our eyes and collapsing upper eye lids! You addressed her issues greatly. I loved how you stressed the importance of color correcting for undereyes! You really really matched her foundation perfectly! I loved you using almond oil on her under eyes! I am not dry, nor have lines anywhere thanks to 3 decades of being a Tretinoin user plus daily Vit C and other serums, but if I wasn't so afraid of having the fallen lids removal procedure...(you must be awake thru the entire procedure!!!) I know I would feel So much better about my appearance. My eyes have fallen so drastically that my once huge round eye shape is now flat, closed off, and completely slanted! I think I need to try once again Rounding my "new made false crease" instead of doing the backward 7, which everyone seems to do these days! This idea just came to me this morning while trying to wake and get up. I think I've tried it, (is this called the Halo look?) but had no success. Yet, I will continue experimenting. At least I still have plenty of real estate on the upper eye area To try and darken to have my "roll" of extra skin Recede. Forgot to mention this part! But Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated or if you could get a 60-70 y/o model in with these severely hooded, with excess skin, in, to do a tutorial on. Maybe you could even do a round look eye crease on your eyes, it would help me.
