Hi Jill I stumbled on your channel by chance and I’m so glad I did; I’m in my 60’s and an avid makeup wearer but I have learnt so much from you and your transformations are amazing; I think you’re amazing, thank you so much for your tips and tricks which I try out for myself to see what works for me ❤️💕
Hi Jill. This is such a gorgeous look. I don't have that eyeshadow palette but I do have a couple with very similar shades, including your favourite "gun metal" one. Can't wait to see your other fall looks. Love your hair too. It really suits you. X
Absolutely stunning!!! Thank you for keeping it real with how our skin ages and how to work with it in this tutorial! I was told not to use shimmer eyeshadows since my 30’s but I never listened (dip me in a vat of glitter and I’m happy lol). I’ve been afraid to really get in there and define my lid area and outer corner of my eyes. This has been super helpful. I also love how you contoured your bottom lip, my simple makeuping mind is blown! I didn’t know we could do that! Thanks again, and please keep doing what you do!
You look amazing Jill. Such a gorgeous lady you are!!! Stunning beauty. I am just an old lady of 76 that has followed you a long time now. Even on your worst days crying in your car you are so pretty inside and out. 👍👍👍. Thanks for trying to help others.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thankyou for this video. Total transformation. You are a gorgeous woman anyway but looked like a totally different person. Your makeup looks so natural. I don't often wear makeup but after seeing this will give it a go as I prefer natural look.
Hi Jill, Keep these videos and tutorials coming! I picked up really helpful tips. I’m in my early 60’s and when you’ve been doing your makeup for years you’ve developed a ‘way’ that you do daily almost without thinking. Problem is that when you get older you step back and ask yourself why this ‘way’ doesn’t seem to be working as it used to. It’s hard to figure out how to change things up in accordance with our changing faces. Thanks Jill for these wonderful tips and what’s more, for explaining them so well. 💕
Your eye makeup looks beautiful on you .not sure us all ladies over 65 can use all that.I haven't been doing my makeup for past 6 to 7 years .too busy and hard to know what will work on more mature skin with wrinkles and lines and hooded eyes.any ideas for us over 65 with imperfect skin?
Same here. I’m 50 but figured it’s time to update my technique. Holy cow! I feel like the kid coloring with fat crayons watching a master artist! Foundation on a brush? Shading under the lips? Contour what? Lol I need a basic video. 🤣
Just wanted to tell you that you have the absolute best make up tutorials for women over 50 on youtube. I love makeup, and I’ve watched all the big players. You don’t go heavy handed with anything. It’s always a softening look. I think that is probably the most important thing after 50. Exaggerated makeup and especially heavy dark eye makeup and bright lip colors on us can be aging and harsh. We have the same eyebrow issues, so I watched that part 3 times. Lol. Please never stop, I would miss you.
What a sweet, and kind comment to read tonight! Thank you so much for taking the time to write and post it. ❤ I will be filming again very soon! I am honored that you watch!
WOW how gorgeous and what a lovely calm tutorial. Am 60 so really appreciate seeing mature ladies taking time to really explain everything. Stunning. ❤
Thank you so much for this video. The transformation was amazing but also inspiring that our 50+ skin and face can look years younger. I especially like that you use products that I can purchase at the grocery store and not have to spend alot of money to look great.
Your “nub” brow brush is actually a trick I use for my clients who need magnification to see. It’s hard to lean into the mirror with a long handle, show I show them how to cut the handles down, or cut pencils in half so they can get very close to the mirror. Love your videos as always!😊
Blimey! Possibly the best cosmetic tutorial for a maturing face I’ve viewed over the past 20-something years. Almost gets me excited about my morning regimen again. Brava! 👏👏😍
Thanks for being "real" with the trouble spots. The wig! Beautiful and took away several years (which you didn't need to do), but the style and color are great on you. Thanks for sharing the great products, where to apply them and why, and how to purchase them. You are so helpful.
She absolutely looks lovely; however, I personally see no difference in the before and after contouring,. I myself find that cream contours offer more pay-off than powder contours, but that's just my own personal appearance. Jill, I hope you haven't taken offense to anything I've said because you do indeed look beautiful.
I love this look!!! Thank you for sharing. I use the infallible and mix with Estee Lauder Double Wear because I live in the tropics and it helps it last a little longer...in case anyone is going on a hot vacation.
Hi Jill I really love the look you achieved. So beautiful and natural looking. Well done, I will try to replicate it on myself. I am not used to do so much make-up but I am nearing 62 years so I rally need it now. Thanks a lot.
Jill, your makeup color choices look gorgeous on you. Your tips and technique are very good; they give me the confidence to start wearing makeup again. And your helper hair looks amazing, too. Thank you and blessings.
Like the idea of your different looks using your picks to help us create looks we like that you use. Great idea! Thank you for your GRWM. Very grateful for the brow tips.
Jill, You are such an artist! I am turning 75 in November and wish I had you to show me how to use techniques appropriate for my face, eyes shapes, etc. Thank you for this great video!!!!

What helped me with my disappearing eyebrows was minoxidil. I spray a little onto one pinky, rub both pinkies together and them rub them into my eyebrows twice daily. My eyebrows have grown back thick and strong. As a 59 yo woman, that can't take hormone replacement, I have to take my tips where I can. This one was from an over 50, female dermatologist.
@@dianemason1356 5% spray made of alcohol and water. I believe several firms make this. I wouldn’t spray it on my face though, as that would risk getting it in my eyes, which is why I only spray a little on one finger and then tap it into my eyebrows, making sure it doesn’t drip.
Thanks for this suggestion! As a former cosmetologist myself I've recommended that product enough over the years for "head" hair but it never crossed my mind to try it on eyebrows! And if a dermatologist told you about the idea it must be a sound one so thanks for sharing it here & also your own results for us all to read & learn from.
I am so impressed on how make up can make a person transform themselves. I am so excited to try your very steps on how I can transform my face. I’m 60 and now I have a chance to look younger and feel even more confident. Excellent video and instruction. Thank you and also for having affordable products. New here too! I’m subscribing 🎉
I just found your channel and really liked this episode. Your Fall look is really beautiful. I enjoyed the contouring steps, but especially under the lip. I have very small thin lips so will try that first . Looking forward to learning more from you.
Hi Jill, I always enjoy your makeup tutorials. I actually bought the same eyeshadow palette after the last time you did a review with it. I absolutely love that palette. I actually need to purchase another because I love it that much and the price makes it that much more appealing. Happy fall . 🧡💛❤
Wow -great tips and lovely look - very natural. Think the shorter hair also really suits your face shape. Thanks for sharing , will definitely try out some of your ideas
Offering a word of caution to everyone! I was curling my lashes the other day, and the tool SNAPPED AND BROKE. A spendy one, too! Scared the crap outta me cos I could’ve lost my eye; when it broke, it FLEW and JUMPED. I won’t ever use a curler again. Which is actually fine, as I realized it’s taking my time with the mascara, and “pushing” up with the wand, that was giving me the “curled” look, because my eyelashes look just as nice without curling! 🤦🏻♀️ I also put some kohl on my upper tight line, which gives a fuller illusion effect! Your look is so pretty! And I have an eyebrow pencil the size of your eyebrow brush lol! I will cry when it can no longer be sharpened!
I'm blessed with eyelashes that bend upwards on their own and are long, but when I tried eyelash curlers in my teens, they just ripped tons of hairs out every time. Awful. I tought I had to use it because my sister used those and told they were good, but her eyelashes are straight and push downwards so she really needed it. I realized soon that I didn't need it fortunately. But at that age, we are so influenced of what others do so we believe we have to do it too...
Such a gorgeous fall look, Jill! Thank you for your excellent tutorial. I bought the L'Oreal Infallible in your shade 202 and the eyeshadow palette because of this video. Both were great purchase, and I will be reviewing them. Have a beautiful week. xo, Sophia
I'm so glad too see a makeup video by someone over 50 , that I can relate too we do have fine lines and discoloration so we need some expert advice , Thank You for this video ❤
Jill! Such a beautiful look on you! I love how everything came together. Thanks so much for the tips about the palettes - that's always good to know. Love your hair as well! ❤
Such an incredible video! You showed everything I wanted to see, explained everything I wanted to know and made me feel like I was playing with make-up with my best friend....laughing about and talking about all of those challenges we face as we age. I've just ordered my Lamora Attraction pallete that you used. So beautiful and can't wait to get it. New subscriber and so happy to have found you. 🤗🙏🏼
You are so very welcome! I forgot to mention that after watching several of your videos, I LOVE how (in this video) you did a still screenshot of the products/palette/shadow colors and circled them. It makes it easy to pause the video to really look at what you're using. Such a great teaching technique. Bravo! Can't wait for your next video. 😁@@JillLynnBeautyTherapy

I believe I had Covid just over a year ago. While I had no symptoms then, I’ve had nothing but troublesome problems since. Fast aging, fast hair thinning to the point of saving for a topper, nerve damage in hands and feet, etc. etc. and etc. In fact, looking for a topper is how I found your channel. I was shocked at how many women say that they’re loosing their hair and was told it’s a common Covid “party favor” 🎉 . …Yippee 😢
Wow! You look fabulous! Thank you so much for sharing such a detailed video of how to apply all makeup from start to finish. The eye look is so pretty and very detailed. I really enjoyed and learned a lot.

This is a lovely look. I'm keen on organic cosmetics, if you'd be interested in comparing these colours with equivalent lines it would be very interesting 😊
Hi Jill. Im really new to your channel. Never commented before but I HAD to after seeing this. When I saw the before & after~~ well, it blew me away. Then watching you achieve this look...I thought, like I always thought~~ why the heck doesn't every woman want to wear makeup~~ I mean the transition is remarkable!! I LOVE sitting at my vanity playing with make up more than anything~ its relaxing...the outcome builds such confidence. I feel just like you I bet~~ when you are finished with the production, you say, wow, Im lookin' pretty sexy!!! Lol, I have long, highlighted golden blonde hair, I love to play up my green eyes, etc!! So fun, and Im 69 and holding, most think Im 10-15 years younger and thats because Im in good shape, Intermittent fast, religious skin care from watching Angie Hot & Flashy for the last 7 year's. Im so glad I have found you too!!! You have a very soothing voice also, and I love your name Jill Lynn, so cute!!!
Hi Jill .. I love the soft "Autumn" look of all of these shades .. I have a problem that I think is more wide spread than is spoken .. I have no eye brows and use the Benefit skinny eye brow pencil to try and form subtle ones .. I think there may be invisible hairs along the lines though and I am wondering about using the eye brow gel, if it may catch a few of them and give my eye brows more dimension. Is there anyone out there that has the same problem ... I wear wigs due to alopecia , so that is what I lost my brows to ... we need eyebrow wigs ! LOL
Jill thank you.. you make it look so easy. Would love to see your must haves and step by steps for beginners. I used to think before watching you that concealer, foundation and blush was all I needed before eyes and lipstick . So much to learn from you. Take care 💜🇦🇺
yes that is the draw back of make up. You don't want to be unrecognizable without it or with it. Make up should enhance, not replace or cover. You should not be able to wash it off after a bank robbery and be safe in other words ;)
There is not a soul that doesn't look different when they apply makeup, and if it's done properly it does indeed just enhance...rather than be a mask and cover it all up.
I see your point about the time… And maybe it wouldn’t be an every day thing. That being said, though - even doing one of the three areas with that much precision and skill would probably still yield noticeable results (face, eyes, or lips).
Personally I think you should always find time to look your best. It doesn't have to be to this standard by far but even a few minutes spent will be beneficial. 60 year old mother of two and never gone a day without a little something. That said, if it's not your thing then leave it.
She has the time-from what I understand her husband’s health is not good and maybe hers either. So she makes herself look gorgeous even if it’s just to go out to take her husband to a dr appt. And I applaud her! It seems to me that being made up makes her feel better emotionally-I know that’s how I feel. So if I’m correct I’m so happy for her that she gets that little bit of comfort not just being made up but enjoying the process of getting made up. Life sucks so whatever we can do to make ourselves feel better emotionally, without hurting anyone else I say go for it. And not only is she not hurting anyone else but she is entertaining us with her art of transforming herself while giving us older gals valuable tips on applying our make up. And I love that she has a huge following that I’m sure further helps her emotionally. So thank you so much Jill! ❤
One thing to keep in mind is that she's pausing frequently to show/discuss products & techniques to viewers. If she was doing her makeup without filming the process, I imagine it would take a lot less time.
I haven't worn makeup regularly in over 25 years.

Same here. I’m 50 but figured it’s time to update my technique. Holy cow! I feel like the kid coloring with fat crayons watching a master artist! Foundation on a brush? Shading under the lips? Contour what? Lol I need a basic video. 🤣
@@susanmartin1693😂😂😂
Stunning. ❤
Another wonderful makeup video, and I never get tired of them. I have learned so much from you…What a beautiful end result!
Thank you so much for this video. The transformation was amazing but also inspiring that our 50+ skin and face can look years younger. I especially like that you use products that I can purchase at the grocery store and not have to spend alot of money to look great.
Without a doubt this is the best makeover video I’ve ever watched. So informative and you have a delightful approach.
Wow, thank you! So happy you enjoyed this!
You are a wonderful makeup artist! Love your hair, makeup and lip color. So pretty with your blonde hair, brown eyes and fair skin! 🩷
Your “nub” brow brush is actually a trick I use for my clients who need magnification to see. It’s hard to lean into the mirror with a long handle, show I show them how to cut the handles down, or cut pencils in half so they can get very close to the mirror. Love your videos as always!😊
The coverage of that face makeup is super!
Blimey! Possibly the best cosmetic tutorial for a maturing face I’ve viewed over the past 20-something years. Almost gets me excited about my morning regimen again. Brava! 👏👏😍
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Magnificent look unbelievable transformation, which makes you look much younger & beautiful... Bravo!!!
Thanks for being "real" with the trouble spots. The wig! Beautiful and took away several years (which you didn't need to do), but the style and color are great on you. Thanks for sharing the great products, where to apply them and why, and how to purchase them. You are so helpful.
This haircut is simply gorgeous. Your makeup is beautiful. Glad to know I am not the only one who have difficult time with my brows....
WOW you're a contouring master! NEVER have I seen such impactful transformative contouring & touch brightening... subtle yet so effective.
Jill you have absolutely beautiful skin and when you're done with your makeup it's marvelous but you're really already so pretty❤😊
Aww....thank you! You are SO kind. I appreciate you watching! 😄❤
Hi Jill I really love the look you achieved. So beautiful and natural looking. Well done, I will try to replicate it on myself. I am not used to do so much make-up but I am nearing 62 years so I rally need it now. Thanks a lot.
Love love love!! This looks so natural? You'd never guess how much care you took. I am just in awe. So glad I found your channel
Absolutely stunning!!! You always amaze me with your talent! Very inspiring! Thank you!! ❤
You can see wat a difference the brows make to the whole face. Classic an very gorgeous! Thank you for sharing
Jill, You are such an artist! I am turning 75 in November and wish I had you to show me how to use techniques appropriate for my face, eyes shapes, etc. Thank you for this great video!!!!
Same here. I don't usually wear any makeup apart from mascara but would like to learn to do it properly.
My first time watching. Incredible transformation from no makeup to a full face with makeup. Very nice. You got skills lady.
Gorgeous. Your hair cut, the way the front falls, REALLY suits you.
I don't think the blond short hair is her hair but is a wig she put on at the end. Correct me if I'm wrong.
@@christinasworld7894 I'm not sure, but it's so striking and immediately flattering.
50% is your beautiful makeup and 50% the different and modern hairstyle. Wonderful transformation!
I forget that new viewers aren’t aware I wear helper hair/ wigs and toppers. I have a ton of Playlists and videos dedicated to my journey with reviews, styling help and what I have learned etc… So always put a wig on after makeup to complete my look and that’s how I get ready for my day!
I also always put what helper hair I am wearing in all of my videos down in the description area below the video.
Which formula? There are so many. Thank you
@@dianemason1356 5% spray made of alcohol and water.
Good stuff! They tell us lower liner makes the eye look smaller but I feel unfinished w/o it. Thank you so much for the great content!
I'm learning so much from you Jill . This is such a subtle and pretty look . You look beautiful as always💕
Your skin is beautiful. Great make-up look.
This is the kind of look I love! Gorgeous Jill!❤❤
So happy you think so Wendy! ❤
I love makeup! It transforms everyone into their most beautiful self ❤
The Fluffy Blushy by Pacifica is a gorgeous cream blush. Got it in the colour Blushed today and I just love it!
Wow your before and after look really different. Love your wigs
Beautiful! Love love the contouring and the pink shade of lipstick! Thank you for inspiring us!
Thanks!
@@christinem.2677 thank you so much! That is so kind ❤️
Beautiful tutorial. I think this is one of your best looks ever. Thank you so much for sharing. ❤
Jill you are the best. I don’t think anyone can even compete. I love all your videos you have taught me so much thank you❤️
Offering a word of caution to everyone! 🤦🏻♀️
I also put some kohl on my upper tight line, which gives a fuller illusion effect!
I’ve watched many makeup tutorials; but really loved yours the extra little touches for a “ Magnificent Eye, Etc. Thankyou
Such a gorgeous fall look, Jill! Thank you for your excellent tutorial. I bought the L'Oreal Infallible in your shade 202 and the eyeshadow palette because of this video. Both were great purchase, and I will be reviewing them. Have a beautiful week. xo, Sophia
What was the name of the pallet she was using- I loved her look
You look beautiful. You’ve created a youthful flawless complexion . I am inspired. Thank you for the tutorial.
I love your look and I’m inspired to try doing my eyebrows better. I always like all your videos. You look great!
You are so beautiful and positive. Just listening to your voice brings calm. I have learned so much about make up application through your videos.
Ok, well this really made my day. ❤ What a kind comment, and am so happy you enjoyed this and decided to subscribe too. THANK YOU! 😄🩷
You are wonderful! Thank you for teaching! This is inspirational for me at 77!
Absolutely stunning. Thank you ❤️
1st timer here. Learned so much bc you explain “why and why not.” TY. I subscribed within very 1st moments bc you’re so nice and THEN learned SO much too! ❤
Hi Anne! I am SO happy you enjoyed this, and found yourself inspired!! That makes my day, night, week...😄
You are artist
Hi! I just found your channel and so far loving your content! I must tell you that chop sticks make awesome replacement handles for broken makeup brushes! I have a few in my collection. LOL!
This is a lovely look. I'm keen on organic cosmetics, if you'd be interested in comparing these colours with equivalent lines it would be very interesting 😊
Absolutely love how you applied makeup
Your amazing thank you
You do an amazing job with makeup, I will go back and watch others to get tips and tricks:) You are gorgeous!
When I don't have make-up on, my friends say, I don't look like me. Make-up does wonders
yes that is the draw back of make up.
Your hair color is what got me. Love it! And the dark roots with pale blonde mostly.
Gee who has the time for this?!
If she was doing her makeup without filming the process, I imagine it would take a lot less time.
yes she would take less time without taking her time to show us each technique she used to create the astonishing transformation
