You are telling the straight up truth! lol I have used the Catwalk root boost ever since I started following you, also the Enjoy Dry Wax, and I don’t know what I ever did before those two products! They make a WORLD of difference! My haircut is almost identical to yours, except my hair is FINE and not thick AT ALL. So it is like the opposite of yours, but I can style it like yours because of these two products. Another trick I use is I dry my hair upside down, have for years, and that helps my fine hair a LOT. STAY SAFE! ❤🥰💐
I like the Enjoy Dry Wax too but I find it makes my hair very dull looking

I have cut it off a few times, but, for me, it's much more difficult to care for; I do better if I just wear it long (with bangs) and tie it in back. When I was working, I shampooed it every day----that was the only way I could style it to suit myself! Now that I'm retired I don't have to do that, thankfully! I'm 77.

Yes, good hair styling products are a must, however a great hair stylist is a plus and you definitely have one of the best .

You're hair is totally perfect!! And actually, you were (the sweet lady that you are), whom inspired me to get a pixie cut, and I have LOVED it ever since. I agree that it's SO quick and easy to style. I use the exact same products as you do for your pixie cut as well. Although, I have tried the Big Sexy Root Plumping Spray, and it works fine too. And as of Christmas of this past year, I ordered the Zuvi Halo Hair Dryer and I absolutely LOVE it!!! I also use mine everyday too. For my flat iron...I recently purchased the NEW NUME FLAT IRON and I absolutely LOVE it too.

I have a haircut very similar to yours and have fine,menopause transition hair, which means I no longer have the natural curl I used to have, so volume is a challenge. Catwalk Root Boost has been such a help.

First time to catch you. I have fine thin hair and you've confirmed the techniques I need to have any volume at all.
I will look for that root boost. I like that teeny tiny puff of foam or gel it's more precise for the roots. I have a longish bob and i don't need root boost on my ends.

Have to tell you that for someone w/fine, thin hair, Catwalk ($) doesn't work no matter how little or much I've used. I get "some" volume, but IMO what someone like me w/fine, thin short hair needs is more of a thickener. I've come to swear by Simply Smooth Thickening Volumizer and/or as a second runner up, Kristen Ess Instant Lift Thickening Spray. Sometimes I follow up w/Tressemé Texture Spray but even w/o that, either of the two above-mentioned products are better than Catwalk for my fine, thin short pixie (gamin) hair. Love all your videos, btw and am an ardent fan of the Enjoy Dry Wax, too. :).

I have baby fine hair but a lot of it. I’ve been using Boldify root boost and Boldify volumizer with great luck. Then I finish it off with a bit of Enjoy dry wax and hairspray. Sharalee’s haircut is my inspiration, and it’s so easy peasy!! I’ve discovered if I comb through my hair at bedtime, I don’t look like Woody Woodpecker in the morning. It’s so easy I do wash my hair and restyle almost every day.

Curious but if you just spray the root boost and let your hair air dry…same results? Have you ever tried it?
You don't get the BEST results. I would suggest that you blow-dry after applying the Catwalk Root Boost Spray as it may feel too sticky if you were to just let your hair air dry.
Does it not scare you using all those chemicals, breathing them in and them getting absorbed into your body/skin? In my younger years, back in the 80s, I'd use a lot of hair products and always had sores on my scalp. Two years ago I was diagnosed with emphysema and am on oxygen. There is no other reason I know of why I developed it, but I did, and I'm only 62 😢

Hi Sharalee! Another wonderful tutorial from you! My hair is a tad longer than yours, but I don’t have the undercut. I do blow dry it the same way, but in Canada we don’t have the Enjoy pomade. I’m using one from AG, but have to watch the amount I place on my hair because it can be so sticky. I do use the Redken Root Lifter ( green can). It made me happy when you cut your hair short again it looks so good on you. I have my hair cut like yours and your right it's so easy.
The only root boost hair product that works for my hair is root boost catwalk. I’ve tried high end to low end products and still go back to catwalk. I also use a volumizer brush.
I would love to see you attempt a hot air brush instead of the blow dryer to get volume, using products, to see how you style your pixie cut. I love your hair and have been taking many notes.

I've never been one who has felt comfortable using products in my hair. I'm just wondering if you wash your hair every day due to adding these product and then do the steps you showed in the video every day--or, do you go one or two days without washing and tweak your hair with some of these products in between washings. Hello, dear friend!💗 Great question...since my hair is so easy and quick to style, I usually do wash everyday as I love the feel of clean hair. However, I can easily go two days and I literally just scrub my fingers in the roots of my hair to reactivate the product and volume and then add a little hairspray. Voila!😘

I apparently have what is called a boy bob & I like it as short as possible & still be considered a bob. I appreciate your choice in go-to product & will especially try Catwalk. I have a question regarding hair sprays. All brands I've tried get clogged & either spray only air or worse spray a stream instead of a spray. I've tried the hot water approach but that seldom lasts more than 1 use. Do you have this issue with the BedHead spray you high lighted? Thank you.

I've been living in Taiwan for the past 11 years and finally found someone who can cut my hair. Just met her about a month ago and her shop is only 2 blocks from my home! In Taiwan, there are no laws requiring a license to cut hair so they all teach each other how to give a bad haircut!
Also, products are impossible to find. However, I have some products I've brought back from US that I can use. Your tutorial is awesome because I have baby fine, white hair, and with the products I have on hand, it should work out well.

I was so inspired by your Pixie that I got one today! 😊 It's not exactly like yours because I have very fine hair. Feels fantastic! My hair was already short, but I've been so disappointed in the other places I figured I was doomed to a bad cut. Thankfully I found someone with 28 years of experience and she listens! She did tell me to use gel instead of root boost or mousse because of my hair being so baby fine. I wish I could post a picture on here to share! I hate cowlics. My hair is to my shoulder, and had a nice cut done. I looked at the back of my hair and it seems to part from one side to the other. I think that's what happens when you sleep on your back, the hair splits to 2 sides. I really hate it.
My thin and thinning on top and front fine hair doesn't want to stay up at the crown or blend into the back on my pretty short cut. Any advice?
Cat walk is the best, sometimes when I don’t want to mess with my hair I use it on wet head and use as a mousse. Love this product!
