Great video, lovely scenery and so glad you both made the right decision to stay safe. So looking forward to part 4.
Thanks, Mum. appreciate your support in this whole adventure 👍👌🙏🤙
Great video Chris really captured the essence of those two days of "torrential mizzle" as you said,. Great time was had paddling along the paths enjoying some wonderful scenery with a combination of persistence and making good team choices in response to the prevailing conditions.👍 Anyone passing through Tyndrum give the American diner a go - great hospitality and food. 👍👍 Youth Hostel at Crianlarich was a good call as was the Bridge of Orchy Hotel, great chance to dry out and recharge!!
Good stuff, watching from Ireland. Great scenery. Wilderness for a bit of peace and tranquility.
I'm glad you liked it, and yes, this location and the trip as a whole was good for the soul. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. Thanks for your support 😀 👍🙏
Great video 👌 2 down 2 to go - you got lucky with weather on day 1 - well that’s Scotland for you. But you definitely cant beat the views in Scotland even with the clouds ☁️ 😊
Totally agree is beautiful no matter the weather and did get lucky day 1 but overall wouldn't change a thing on this trip, again thanks for watching and your support 😀 👍
Looking good darn wet ,
Thanks mate, yes it sure is a wet one 😉
Chris really likening the way your videoing the journey.wow I was going to walk in Sept.might have to rethink the time . Sorry about your dad . I lost mine 27 yr.s ago still miss him but trust me days get easier.good luck to you and John.👍😇🇺🇸
Hi mate, I am very happy you like the filming. I appreciate the feedback. With regards to the weather, it's like it all year round, just potluck. I think we just had one of those weather fronts that was particularly bad and constant, but it added to the experience 👍 and agree time is a healer and glad things have gotten easier, also sorry for your loss.
Sensible choices there mate. No point roughing it to the point of not enjoying your time out. Chuckled along with you at the 'crab walk' bit 🤣 really enjoying your trip, atb Andy
Hiya mate, yes that was a very low tunnel lol good fun tho, and yes sensible choices is the key to being out on a trip like this, even tho it can be hard making them sometimes, appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment 😀 👍 🤙🙏
What tents were you using?
We were both using our Luxe Hex Peak V4a tents, nice roomy set up using walking poles at the centre. 👍
@@johnmartindale Do they actually have a floor or is it just a shell basically? Didn't see the floor in your other photo shots...
Hi Korum no they don't have a floor just an internal nest that is suspended from the top of the walking pole support area.@@KorumEmrys
We were using the Hex Peak 4a tents
Thanks John you have covered this on, and appreciate everyone for your comments 👍
