Thank you for sharing your story. I’m so proud of you for your 180 degree turn around in your life. I’m so grateful that the church found you. You are such a valuable asset to this church. What wonderful things you’re doing. Love you Brother JR.
Great interview! You do such a good job with the interviews because you asked enough questions to prompt good discussion but you don't try to overdo it. Well done!
Most powerful thing for me was this statement: "What I don't do is complain about the faith that I DON'T have. I hold on to the faith that I DO have. And I hold onto it dearly because not only of the feelings that I had, but because I know this Church is true. I've seen it. I've been through so much stuff that, the worse it gets, I just endure it to the end, righteously and I come out better." Jr. inspires me so much! I have loved ones who have left the Church - all five of my kids - and it's heartbreaking, and it's a struggle to hold hope for their return.
Love it!! Our family is from So Cal and I felt this deep in my soul. We have a special place in our hearts for so many Samoans/Tongans/Polys that we grew up with... we have so many memories!!!! . I love your story of REDEMPTION! God bless You and your family🙌🏼
Brother Taimi and I used to be in the same ward in Santa Clara! I doubt he would remember me, my family was in the ward for about 6 years or so but I was only there for about a year before I went on my mission and then moved out when I got back. I do remember him getting up to bear his testimony one particular Sunday, I don’t recall much about what he said but I recall feeling the spirit when he was up there. He is a great man. What an inspiration!
We will never be perfect in this life. We are supposed to do the very best we can here. And then when we get into the millennium we will work for it then
I love and appreciate Br. Taimi's humble sharing of his experiences, and enduring testimony. I cried when I heard his love and respect for his departed mother. The temple ordinance of eternal family sealing is beautiful and such a comfort. Thankyou for this podcast.
Hearing his testimony has encouraged me to choose the right and get back in touch with our saviour. Much love to the uso Junior and his beautiful family malo lava uso
