@@thataustralian4078 the NZ government has brought in laws that says if you find a dead kiwi bird you are not allowed to touch it and have to contact nature conservation and inform them so they can come and get it. That is to stop people taking them and getting a necropsy to determine if they died from 10/80 poison. I have seen 3 dead Kiwi birds in an area where they had thrown 10/80 a few weeks before. When i asked nature conservation why they died I was told that they died from a virus. What a load of crap. They died from 10/80.
Well folks getting back to reality, great to see you again, seems like ages since the last drop. Never did i imagine old war bunkers cauld be made in a more beautifull place to stay, totally different than what you are use to, hope Fran was not on the back of the bike when you droped it. Any way hope you folks stay safe god willing, just cant wait till the next episode so its good by from me, L and K from cloudy Wales....and remember I'm watching you...
Thanks for the nice tip about not washing the fish and keeping it out of the slime. Nice snapper catch. We fish for striper on the NH coast and on Block Island.
I would like to recommend a good fishing spot to fish after our nation wide lockdown you should go to the port of Waikato there’s heaps of massive fish there
I have learned a lot from watching your channel, thank you mate. I love the electric line reel. That was really cool to see because I never seen one like that before.
Watching this makes me wish we had snapper of the shore and rocks here in South Africa.. I enjoy watching Matt doing bait fishing and rock and surf fishing 👌 hope one day you will come fish south Africa to durban in the sardine run you will love it💯
Giday from over the detch I've seen a bloke use those ice cannons fishing off a beach in Victoria once. Must say the the mini "sub" with the long line on it was the bee's knees

The fishing here on the big island of Hawaii was like this and even better sometimes back in the 70's, 80's and most of the 90's but now catching good fish is extremely difficult. Lucky to catch one fish over 5 pounds in 24 hours. Mostly Ulua "GT", Papio, Omilu and O'io/bone fish. The Chinese fishing fleets wiped out our Ahi and a lot of our swordfish too.... Sink all those cockroachs of the sea!! REALLY miss the good old days.
Don't forget to take the front fins in one hit to have "snapper wings " . Awesome video guys , love the locations and the bait blaster caster ( bazooka) . Cheers fellas from Kalgoorlie Boulder western Australia.
I live on the Texas Gulf Coast we can drive on our beach from Port Aransas all the way to Mexico you have to get off the beach a couple of spots but majority of driving directly on beach the Canon would work so well here
That was awsome to watch. You guys are lucky to have great fishing grounds. I loved the cannon fishing I must try one of those lol What was the temp guys yous looked cooled lol its +2 here in Scotland at moment? 👍👍👍😜🏴🦕🦄😁🤞✌
What a blessing to be able to fish at that spot. You are definitely living right. Better hope that your little red buddy decides not to go to Brisbane.
@@whanauof5 nope never. Been using fishing drones for years. There are waterproof ones but unsure how you would get them back if you crashed into the water.
Just want to say real quick 20 minutes in and its nice to see that your helping others with food and not wasting the fish I just hate to see people filet the fish and just get rid of the rest like the head and the rest of the body 👍 cool stuff big fish
Personally, I like to sit and relax with a rod in hand, casting and waiting for a fish. That’s what fishing is supposed to be about. But hell, let’s make it a competition. Like everything else. Personally, I’ll sit on the bank and RELAX.
a good pan cooking method for most, well maybe all white flesh fish is 1/ get a good quality stainless steel pan with a copper or aluminium base. place on a high flame and add a cooking olive oil or any good cooking oil and wait till almost smoking: almost only. then in with the fish, EITHER floured or not but skin side DOWN if still with the skin on. tbh i think it is criminal to remove the skin as when it crisps up its a real delight, but maybe thats just me. cook on that side for a few mins, until you see along the side of the fish the Flesh turn white till almost 1/2 way of the thickness of the piece of fish, but also wait till the piece of fish is not sticking, then flip and cook till the side colour changes to all white then heat OFF. leave for a few mins to settle theN add adob of butter or a little salad olive oil preferably to a cooking OO. also a good squirt of lemon and ALWAYS s-n-p. you should be able to just fork of chunks and into the gobbo........ oh also some chopped spring onion is a good add for taste.
Haha I remember I used this as an excuse to make a few spud guns at school... "science" cant believe they let me test it on the school field... ahhh the good days
He makes it look easy because he has got to be one of the most organised people on the planet.
Sensational Work Mate.

That’s one of the most impressive, top-class fishing setups that I’ve ever seen. Great job mates! Hell of a lot of fun mixing cannons and fishing lol!

So good. to see you keep the center and head to use still, my kind of hunter, no waste.
Beautiful country and an incredible fishery. Can't beat that.
in coral bay western australia you cant go fishing for little cod on surface water in 2.5 metres of water
If only the New Zealand government would stop throwing 10/80 poison everywhere
yeah i heard thats a big problem over there

Never fished on the rocks or cliffs ,looks like fun . Great fishing , liked the Helix clothing also.
When I fish of a bridge or rocks I bring a large hand net with a long pole for the handle. That rocket cast was a real blast!

In Hawaii I used a Nagashi which is a trot line with a sail on the end. Works with ocean current or wind!

Blaster caster!!!👍👍😁
honestly dream scenario great video subscribed
Personally I like to use a drone to get my bait off shore. And the camera is ideal for spotting the fish boils & bingo drop your bait into it.
Until your drone goes swimming
Exactly
Ever lost a drone? Have they made waterproof drones you can fish back if needed? Gets pretty windy out there.
@@whanauof5 nope never. Been using fishing drones for years. There are waterproof ones but unsure how you would get them back if you crashed into the water.
you should try target the snapper on the rocks with a dropshot on a 7ft medium heavy rod and a 3000 size grinder
Were is the video for that ute setup, looks mint.
I thought of almost the same stuff, unfortunately never really gone through, would have had use can drinks as moulds...
nice idea

Can U go fishing during Level 4 lockdown?
Nah mate no fishing in level 4.
@@UltimateFishingTV Not so.

Go anyway 👍

There should be balance
Fishing seems to be it
With that? Hold my beer
Did a company make that cannon it looks way more professionally made then all the ones I’ve seen
It is company made...sure of it. But most people are making them using PVC pipe and fittings.
Gut and gill before ice!
I like fishing, my problem is noreel and rod ,I'm from filipines
love how the otterboard has progressed eh ?

The Swellpro Splashdrone 4 is the answer.

Would you please Closed Capton { CC ] your video's? I am deaf and would like to enjoy also.
Those work utes always seem to be able to go places that your own utes won’t. Salt water, mud, nothing is too tough for a work vehicle.
Cool
Don't support that Long line approach, could be detrimental to stocks.
The cannon is cool one bait at a time.
It's a drop in the water compared to commercial trawling.
Nice
Didn’t think there was public vehicle access to that beach?
wow
I wondered what became of Marc Ellis.
Seems he's matured a little, always was good for a laugh though.
