Thanks so much for the heads up Keith. Hearing that from someone with such a popular fishing channel like yours is very encouraging. I've been a fan of you channel for quite a while and find your vids very inspiring. It sure is a ton of work to make videos.
For sure every handy for hunting great whites would not have to use you on your inflatable paddle board with a fishing hook in you know where 😄😄😄@@Fishingreminder
Another method to release the bait cannon compressed air to fire out the bait...is a small rubber mallet hammer....you can then "strike" the valve lever without causing it any damage....alot more effective and quicker than using your hand to release and results in zero loss of compressed air in the process.
If you really wanted to maximize the pressure, you could mount an electrically controlled solenoid to control the valve and minimize the undesired pressure dissipation that opening the valve by hand necessarily incurs.
Yeah I'd like to know why are you guys so far back from the water? I would think you'd get a little bit closer but not in the water that way you get more range out of it instead of being so far back onto the Beach.
$1300 for a 200 dollar pipe 😂😂😂 flash stickers don't make it worth a thousand dollars rip off its not hard work to glue pipes together ffs not to mention the 8 bucks a pop for the shitty looking sinkers sorry but this guys a con not a good deal at all maybe if he had involved a little amount of skill and make of stainless steel but seriously for PVC
Was an aweseome day with Tama, checking out these cannons.
Check out the bait cannons website for more details: baitcannons.co.nz/
I really dig your videos brother , great job on the editing . That's a lot of hard work. I know from experience.

Great video...well done and informative...thanks Tama (big things happen in Te Teko brother)..all the best.
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed the video!
Building a big one over here in California I like the idea of the sinker weight for launching non frozen bait.
Good luck with the build!
Great video Mark and a fantastic product what fun
Thanks Brian, this bait cannon has your name written on it, haha. Great fun for sure. I think it should be called Big Brian instead of Big Bertha 😂😂😂

If you don't mind paying 1300 dollars for 150 bucks of PVC plastic and some flash shark stickers and warning signs 😂😂😂😂😂

great idea. An electrical valve would be quite expensive I guess.
A cool device! Yeah~Yeah! 🤣
lots a yeahs there :)
Liked, got me thinking now maybe a drone to spot the holes banks rips and of course the moochers 😅
Not a bad idea, I use my drone quite often for just that purpose.
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
Choice
5.09 what diameter are the sinkers
How many metres long to go bite sir
you can also make one for less than $400 all from bunnings
I am going build a mini version for 4oz egg weight.
sounds like a fun project, let us know if it works.
Or drone drop but looks fun
good fun for sure and quite useful in areas where you can't use a drone
A great fishing toy, especially if you are addicted to fishing😄😉🤘
@@walkintomydream7208 I’m asking Santa for 1 😂🙏🏼 I was good 💯 percent of the time 50 percent of the time 😂

yeah probably better to go as close to the water as possible for the best distance :)
Ehh a potato cannon for fishing should cost around 150-300 $ max not hard to make
1300 for these 😂😂😂😂
Go make one then, no ones forcing you to buy this
My dad made 1 of these a good 30yrs ago and got arrested for it 😂😅😂😂
