    Thanks...I just did this job on my friends 2018 Audio 2.0L Turbo. Took around 4 hrs and he paid me $500. Saved him thousands at the stealership. Monetize on youtube, or use the knowledge to earn !

    Do you have to be at TDC on each piston?

      No.

      @@philrenault2781 Yes wtf, you probably caused this guy catastrophic damage. It’s always best to have piston at TDC even with an air compressor

      Yeah the piston needs to be a tdc otherwise you’ll drop the valve in the cylinder 😂

    where did you get that compressor tool?

    Great video! Two pieces of constructive criticism for ya: 1. Use more light. :) 2. Please illustrate that the new seals should have oil or something slippery on them, and that a drinking straw, tubing, or some other sleeve-like instrument should be temporarily placed over the valve stem to protect the seal upon installation.

    Is the air pressure inserted in the respective spark plug input for the valve seal?

    • @shanemarsh8362
      @shanemarsh8362 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      if you are asking if the air pressure is inserted in the same cylinder as the valve you are working on, yes.

    how much psi did you set the compressor at?

    • @draako5165
      @draako5165  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I dont remember for sure but it doesnt take much. maybe 20 psi

      Thank you, I ended up doing it with the Rope method

      What's the string method !?

    • @thealgorithmisbroken
      @thealgorithmisbroken 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@codyyoung5080 It's feeding a rope or string into the spark plug hole and bunching it up in there so the valve doesn't drop into the cylinder when changing the valve seals with the heads on the engine.

    I have a question about the air hose? Once it is attached and you're pressurizing your cylinder does air leak out through the carburetor or anywhere else? I hear a hissing sound in your video is that supposed to happen thanks

      the air is probably going through the rings

    I think those kind of seals are one-time-use, I wouldn't take them off and back on like that
