      That is awesome. The whole point is to get people to try things themself. I have a whole bunch of others you may want to check out and there are more coming.

    Both Plug are okay but she running a little on the lean side which is damn typical of A TV'S and UTV'S. Great video sir.

      Yep, for sure. I am definitely going to keep an eye on it. Not ALARMING white, but still, you know.

      @ffroad-zq8fh and congrats a TH-camr who actually specs his spark plugs before putting them in. I seen a hundred videos and not one spec'd their new plugs before putting them in. Very smart on you're part. Coming from a trained bike mechanic myself.

      @@ATVHOBO Its appreciated man, With me it is either do it right or don't do it at all. I am an absolute nut with maintenance BUT I have never had a machine fail on me either. As you know it is all in the details.😁

    setting the intakes to the loosest side of the recommended gap makes the most power out of the hole

    • @RhinoOffroad-zq8fh

      Yep, absolutely true. I was just going for an all around basic setting for first timers to try it :)

    Yes so compression here is fine. But exhaust valves are so tight we couldn't even get a .05 under the buckets. Most likely will need new valves. But hopefully this is why it keeps dying on us when driving and stopping to shift into another gear.

    • @RhinoOffroad-zq8fh

      That will definitely play a part in the stalling! Fingers crossed!

    great video, very informative,, been looking for a video on this for awhile , see you have the upgraded fuel rail and cylinder #2 plug was still a tad lean looking not bad but you did mention it,, does your machine have a tune or programmer on it?

    • @RhinoOffroad-zq8fh

      Yep, I am running a Dyno-jet PV3 tune, so that may be why its not really dangerously lean. Kawasaki has them leaned out like crazy to get around emissions as you probably know. Now the fuel pumps are underpowered in these too so I think? I mentioned I have one coming from Full access? Either way bumping up the pressure may help feed it a bit more fuel.

  • @r6exrider

    You may already know this but there has been a problem with the passenger side cylinder running leak because of the design of the fuel rail. There are a couple aftermarket fuel rails that correct thus problem. Might be a good investment for peace of mind.

      Yep, that was one of the first installs I did. If you look real close when I pull the bed out I think? You can see it. Thanks for the comment though!

    Where did you get the shim kit?

    • @RhinoOffroad-zq8fh

      I knew I forgot to add something, thanks!, I will put it in the description. I am in Canada so I got mine from Fortnine.ca . I used Hotcams shim kit if you didn't see it in the video. The KRX uses 9.48 shims, there are different sizes for different machine if you didn't know. I will do that now.

    what elevation are you checking your compression at? we are at approc 7000 ft above sea level and have 175 psi on new motor

      Elliot Lake is about 1060 feet. Makes sense your reading would be less, thinner air.
