Honda TRX 400EX valve clearance for the intake valves is .1mm.
It's .12mm for the exhaust valves.
John also shows you how to take off your TRX plastic side covers, remove the fuel tank pull the access plugs on the side of the crankcase to get to crankcase bolt, and remove crankcase caps to expose adjustment bolts.
Not sure when to adjust your valves? Listen for ticking from the top end, and check your valves if your machine is getting harder to start. The feeler gauge will tell you whether they need to be tightened or loosened will depend on their clearance.
