Well, we recently got into hiking the Sunset Peak Trail here in Southern California after a recent snow fall, and added two new pieces of gear to our hiking kit in order to be able to safely navigate the terrain in winter conditions!
Micro-spikes and hiking poles helped us on this new adventure! It was a lot of fun to get out on this trail for a second time, but this time in winter conditions!
Check out the video above for information on how our Winter Day Hike of the Sunset Peak Trail went with using Micro-Spikes and Hiking Poles "for our first time" to ascend and descend the mountain as well as to check out which brands we chose for our new gear! Enjoy the video.
