The older M12 batteries from 10-12 years ago didn’t have a screw or say CP, I still have a couple, including 1 that came with a drill & impact set from Home Depot so I doubt it’s fake. The drill and 1 of the batteries still work too.
The seller was from China, and they shipped from the same place the other counterfeits shipped from. Also, the seller banned me from buying from him which is what all the other counterfeit battery sellers did. I am pretty sure this one is fake.
yep I bought 2 6.0 of ebay a year ago they still work fine I use them everyday with my buffers/polishers the charge doesn't last quite as long and they are slightly tighter fitement and tend to stick when trying to release the battery from the tool but for 1/3 the price it's not a big deal to me but we will see how long they last
Not true! Most sellers are from “Los Angeles”, but when you try to return the fakes they make you mail them back to Chyna! DO NOT BUY BATTERIES OFF EBAY EVERYBODY!
I think I got fake makita batteries on Amazon. I have a real 3 amp hour battery to compare them to, and the indicator lights look cheaper, and both battery cases cracked when dropped, when the real makita battery has been fine for 3 years. Also one of the batteries won't hold charge all the way snd dies quickly. I'm hoping someone will do a video on fake batteries on Amazon to confirm my suspicions

The one m12 I have has Brookfield misspelled works fine but I’m deff more cautious and don’t want counterfeits
