Love this gun, fits in the hand great and a very easy to rack the slide and love the texturing ,makes for a non slip grip

Just discovered an easy way of depressing the take down button, ever notice the raised triangle on the side of the magazine, line the button up on top of the triangle and push lever moves easy now, i think that is why the raised triangle is there, hopes this helps

Thanks for the great video. I just recently inherited this gun from my father. It has a build date of 1963. I believe he bought it in the 70s in San Francisco for $70 then… I wasn’t sure how to disassemble it, and I didn’t want to destroy the gun trying to do it…

Just got this gun but mine has suppressor no problem cycling but seems after I got sight like your after each shot would not auto cycle. Site doesn’t seem to be blocking but I have my further back then you’re..?

Get your finger out the weld

I have bought an APX A1 brand new. The handgun has exceedingly tight tolerances until after you shoot 100~200 rounds. after that the whole field strip maneuver can be done at the press of your fingers. I have a Burris Fastfire 4 on the slide, the gun is accurate and reliable, tough not as "bite off steel and shit nails" reliable as the M9, which however costs much more and doesn't have an optics ready slide on all models.

My slide lock comes back up do you know why it is only when I put the clip in

This is what I needed to see, was getting frustrated that re-assembly seemed to be having an issue hitting the recoil spring. Intuitively, you'd think the recoil spring assembly would go flat side up, but instead it's round side up. Appreciate the info!

What is it, and why did it happen, when the gun fired the round but there was no ejection of the case, no stove piping, nothing? Just an empty case in the chamber. Like the round didn’t create enough energy to make the slide function enough to extract and then load a new round. Most importantly, is that the guns fault? Or is it a shooter or ammunition fault?

I just switched out my stock slide for the ready dot slide. Thsnk you for this video. Made it perfectly simple

I have a problem my hammer is lifted up and when I go to put my slide back it doesn’t rack back and the barrel gets stuck with the slide what’s the issue
