Back in the late 80's one of my friends had a 1970 Nova that had a 307/w a 2 barrel carb and a 4 speed manual transmission, it had a Zgate shifter , inline shifter no H pattern, It was a pooch but I bumped the timing up and adjusted the carb and that thing would roast the back tires pretty good after that , his Uncle turned it back down, he had me tune it again though. Lol
Thanks Ray. Hopefully she runs like a scalded coyote lol. It runs and feels pretty good for a cheap little two barrel motor. Can’t wait to see what it will do.
I stumbled upon your page and I really enjoy watching you change what was a pile of a Nova into a race car. You have a great personality and a wonderful family. I am a new subscriber and binge watching all the videos!
My favorite place to ride , River Road along the Delaware river... you need to take a pic of your car in front of the Van Sandt Covered Bridge. Looks like that car is ready to tear up the drag strip...it's a great feeling when you breathe new life into something that was thrown away & left for dead .
@@hatchsrecreationalengineer1997 yeah, it's snappy, I have seen people have good luck with those when properly tuned/set up. I heard the camshafts from stock are weak, but it sounds far from stock
I wish my son cared about me like you care about your dad I have 3 sons not one of them will have nothing to do with me not even a text or a phone call.
My dad and I have always been very close. Guy was even the best man in my wedding. No one I trust more and wouldn’t hesitate to call than him. Plus he’s pretty mechanically savvy to so that’s an added benefit as well.
I was one the guys in the trailer park with the Nova 😂 Now I have a house and still have the same Nova

Awesome Dan, She sounds great! A few loose ends and its off to the track, looking forward to she what she runs....

Stuntman Mike would be proud 👏 You need the Rubber Duck on the hood. 😅

Thanks man!
Woohoo! It’s on the road.. 😮
Very cool!!!!! 🤜🤛
Thanks!
Okay 😎🏁🏁🏁🎵🎵🎵 sounds great
Thanks man! Not bad for a dirt cheap high mileage 2 barrel motor!
it’s possible to have the alternator belt lose enough , that it only charges at idle .
Nice nova
Thanks Scott!
@@hatchsrecreationalengineer1997 welcome
That 350 sounds healthy. Especially for a 2 barrel
It’s a 307! It does sound pretty peppy for a little bone stock high mileage unit haha

What front springs are you using for the height you have?
Suspension work- brakes and safety - then you could hit the juice
What size rear slicks and wheels are you using
The car is running a 28x10 slick on a 15x8 jegs star wheel with 5.5 bs
Where's the new videos of the Pontiac Ventura
The nova is looking sweet guys
Thanks jack!
Thanks
I enjoyed the shit out of that video!!!
Thanks Greg! Glad you liked it!!
