Pete, great job of showing the full range of the Pittbull's versatility and range of options. Nobody ever thinks of demoing the Ultra-Lead with a stock Strat. That was killin! Also dig that you used it to track the bass, like you also did on the Deliverance demo. One of the most aggressive amps of all time has a few sweet spots too!
Since I have to sell my Sig:X due to my disability, I might buy a Pitbull module to keep my Deliverance module company. My next target is the Sound City module.
I bought this module and paired it with my 2/90/2 and and stereo rig and fxs and its amazing sounding, previous '96 Ultralead with GEQ owner and this demo got me through missing my amp until I plunked the cash on the module!!
This one of 8 Synergy pre's I have. It is not only the bee's knees, it is the bees massive balls hanging down swinging between the knees. All the tone, shape and grind you could ever want in an amp. Smooth gain, tight bite and thick depth. Well played Pete!!
Great demo as always Pete and once again your "demo track" is a really fantastic and creative piece of music on its own; loved the way you melded clean/strat interlude in there.
Geezus Pete! All of your demo tracks that you write are awesome but man oh man this one is a complete STANDOUT. It absolutely deserves to be made into a full-blown song. EPIC playing - I heard Satch and Petrucci moments in there but all with the unmistakeable Pete Thorn style. AWESOME!
Well, that's the best distortion tone I've ever heard, like a IIC+ but better. Why am I only hearing about this Pitbull Ultra Lead amp now? And why is it not still in production?
That lead break you played on your red signature guitar was FAARRRREAKY!!! So good, man. This is the best demo tune you've done is ages ... and your standard has always been high already. Well done!
Awesome! Man, I'd BUY an album of your amazing demo tracks. Not stream online or the crazy stuff that pays us nothing but actually buy it to have it right here whenever I want. So effing good!!!
Hi Pete !! I realize this Video is a few years old . But amazing job on putting it together . I have a couple of Randall Preamp Modules and after watching this Video it's clear to me that Synergy is a way better product . Hopefully sometime in the next few years I'll be able to afford the Dual Module Amp and and a couple of the really good Modules . I love this Video you put together . Top notch as usual . Hope you're doing well . 🎸
GREAT sounding module, perhaps my fav of the ones you've demo'd so far. Impressed how nasty yet clear and distinct the baritone part is. Cool tune Pete, loved the saturated lead you played as well! That's rock n roll... Vicious. Throaty. Down right Scary ; )
Killer tone. I had a Pitbull 50 several years ago going into a 4x10 cab. Now I want another one😜 Great job as always Pete. Your demos are the best on TH-cam by far!
Great demo. I had the Randall RM4 and 50/50 power amp. It was my favorite amp ever, but... that 50/50 power amp weighed like 70 lbs and the modules cost adds up fast and they aren't cheap. Nice as the Synergy product is, it will remain #2 behind the Axe Fx Iii for my money, ears and back.
Sounds amazing (both the module and the demo)! ...but here's where the one and only fail lies; the EQ light should have been green! Signature VHT/Fryette green!!!
So what's next you metal freak?!! LOL..Sweep arpeggios.......djent mayhem.......?! Honestly you are the players player dude. You just have it nailed.....all of it. I've been tuning in for years and you never ever disappoint my brother. God Bless Pete.
Holy smoking tone! Love the graphic EQ. Excellent demo of the module - very musical. Really good job Pete; awesome playing. You've piqued my in this module. I was also interested in the ENGL module.
Don’t get me wrong, I really appreciate your reviews on the gear you are trying. But those songs you create for each gear reviews videos, are really awesome!!!
Sounds fantastic! I had one of the Pittbull super 30s in the mid 2000s. That was a beast of an amp that only set me back ~$1000 new. Amazing value and I gig'ed with it for years. It's really cool that Synergy is keeping a lot of these circuits alive.
Dude, you've been using that baritone a lot recently so I went and bought a new set of heavy ass strings and a nut blank to repurpose an existing guitar as a pseudo baritone. I need that in my life.
Hן Pete. I love your videos you make everything sound great . Can you make avideo about your favorite gear- what you use every day and works for your needs. Love from Israel.
Great Review - Synergy products are a great option to consider or just have so you can pop in your already designed rig. Waiting on the (synergy) Ubershall demo Pete.
does the presence control do much? i just got mine and i can barely hear any change sweeping through the presence dial. also does that little led in the middle of eq section light up? mine doesnt. trying to figure out if i need to return the module.
Hi Pete. I wonder if you or anyone here can give me some advice on using the blend feature on the BAE 1073mp? I was going to get mine modded with the Steve Stevens Mod when BAE told me that there is a drop of 25dB when using the blend output. When you used it with the blend output, did you need to boost the signal after coming out of the 1073? or did you find that it was fine even with the loss of gain? I'd really appreciate any advice on this if anyone can help. Another option I was looking at was to get the radial mix 2:1 instead.
Yes that’s true there is a drop and then I just up the level again with another pre. I usually do this with a UA pre, in UA console. Sounds fine but it would be cool if they could just put another line amp or something on there to up the gain
@@PeteThorn Thanks for the reply. I have the 1073DMP as well. Could I use that for the extra boost? And if so, would I go into the Line input or the Mic pre to boost the signal?
@@PeteThorn Well, for not playing enough, you're definitely tearing it up! Love the sound you have! Been doing some recording here, but still experimenting with my DAW trying to get the tone I want. ROCK ON BROTHER!
Damn. I've been watching for YEARS and this might be my favorite demo tune. Holy smokes, that just rocked! Pete Thorn FTW....again.
I use my CLX for all guitars and mainly my strat in either HSS or SSS! Love Fryette amps.
My buddy has an old VHT CL100 and a Fryette Deliverance. Such great amps!!!
Since I have to sell my Sig:X due to my disability, I might buy a Pitbull module to keep my Deliverance module company. My next target is the Sound City module.

The Pitbull's versatility is underrated. Everyone talks about it as a metal amp but it can do soooo much more!
It's my desert island amp really.

Wow... loved that tune. Thats gonna sell a lot of Synergy Pitbulls.
Jesus, you were on fire today. I think your synergy tones have been amazing. That red Suhr guitar is always a show stealer...haha
Sounding great and awesome riffs as always, Pete! I’m really digging the Synergy models, pretty versatile and really great sounds.

I came here for the playing and was NOT disappointed 😌 woohoo 0:40 🤯😱 so tasteful on every pass ....Pete you are very musical .
Thanks!
There's no end to your creativity.
I hope you’re right!! Ha! For my sake!
Awesome demo Pete. Tasty song!

Great tune. Great shred.

Whoa... that baryton sound! 😎
Great Little tune by the way.
Wow... That sound with the Strat single coil is awesome!
Always loved the VHT Pittbull series. Had a couple opportunities to buy one in the early 00's for cheap. Stupid that I passed on them.
Once again sick song. More of these! And the sound was great crunch too.
Thank you
Dude, that opening!
Killer tone. I had a Pitbull 50 several years ago going into a 4x10 cab. Now I want another one😜 Great job as always Pete. Your demos are the best on TH-cam by far!
thanks John!
Great barit9ne riffage. Love the tune as well. Thanks again @Pete Thorn
Holy crap!!!!! That’s all I can say LOL!!!
Sounds so much better than the KT88 Ultra Lead I had about 2003 or so.
3:45 sounds juuuust like the laney Ironheart 100 head but a little cleaner on the high end. Nice! Really digging the Synergy products.
Absolutely amazing. Pete is the GOAT without any question.
Hey thanks for watching Jeremy! I appreciate it

Pete, gotta do something with that tune for your next album! Killer riff!!
Sick video!! Another great song for your next album!!
Always enchanted by your playing Pete! As always excellent demonstration 🔥
1:04 haha, what?! That knocked my socks off
Fantastic playing and killer tone. I’m sure Synergy will sell quite a few of those now Pete. 😀
This track is savage!!!!!! Really kicking several asses!!!
Sounds amazing (both the module and the demo)! ...but here's where the one and only fail lies; the EQ light should have been green! Signature VHT/Fryette green!!!
Love your playing!!! And thanks for your wealth of knowledge and thank you for sharing!!!
Absolutely rippin' Pete! Great demo, cool piece of gear.
Awesome heavy tones from the 60s Fender Stratocaster!
Great tones and amazing playing as always!

This song rips so hard, best one yet
Pitbull sounds amazing bold in your face .Great demo. Your Danelectro awesome sick tones. All your guitars and sounds fantastic cheers
Love Fryette Amps, Friedman’s too, Great vid as always Pete, Thank You, gotta get me a Synergy soon
awesome playing man!!! Wow!
Ah come on! From 0:34 to 0:49. Absolute gold. Well done man
That was slamming!!!!!!!! Great tune and soloing
Thanks!
I used to use the VP3 preamp, it was amazing
Great tone indeed, loved the song!
Digging the new camera angle.
That Danelectro guitar is sick!!!
Sounds awesome, Pete. Smoking intro.
Pretty impressive actually
Leg up on the monitor (chair , table) taking a rockstar pose playing a rockin song. Does not get any better than that.
Holy smoking tone! Love the graphic EQ. Excellent demo of the module - very musical. Really good job Pete; awesome playing. You've piqued my in this module. I was also interested in the ENGL module.
Killing it again!
Very King's X-ish. Me likey a lot.
5:14 Love the heavy Dano Bari-tones! And the clean sparkly ones! Why don't I have one of these?!?
That demo track is smokin

Part Jerry Cantrell/ Part Steve Vai. Thats what I always love about the Thorn sound. Just a true player-
Holy fuck Pete that tune was baadasss !!
Killer riff Pete;-))
0:34 here it is again for you folks. Amaze balls
Holy Crap man!
Wouldn't it be awesome if that blank plate in your Synergy box could be extra module storage?
Baratone guitars need to be used more. That’s an interesting deep growl. Nice tone and I want your sig guitar in white.
if you haven`t allready Pete, you GOTTA try a "Little Thunder" pickup
Really tight sound! And a bit of Queensryche in your tune! Thanks!
Holy Sh`t dude, awesome!
Thanks!
Had a pitbull and a deliverance , wish I still did
How does the CP II compare to this?
Rippin !!
does the presence control do much? i just got mine and i can barely hear any change sweeping through the presence dial. also does that little led in the middle of eq section light up? mine doesnt. trying to figure out if i need to return the module.
That sounds really great! What was the signal path coming out of the preamp?
Just into their power amp, into a Marshall cab with old 25's and mic'd with a 57/ST170 ribbon mic
like it!!
Reminds me of Fireball Ministry
Hi Pete, I was wondering. Have you trying differnt power amps and do the ysnergy modules still sound the same?
Wonder if they're going to come out with a CLX module. My 2000 clx has been my main amp since I bought it new and it still kicks ass.
This would be a CLX as well. Only difference is the power section between an Ultralead and a CLX.
@@Skoora There's a bit of a difference re: the phase inverter on the amp, dunno if it would translate to the module.
@@ForeverDownByLaw Yes, it would.
IIRC the phase inverter is technically a part of the power section.
@@FryetteAmps How so?
Do you have any tips for getting feedback while recording with amp sims Pete??
Use good IR's! The best u can find
Hey Pete, were you using that BluGuitar BluBox for amp simulations at all? How do you like it?
It's cool! Wasn't using in this vid

Such a great video all around. 🍊🍌🍉
graphic EQ sounds like they yoinked the funcionality from the mesa mark. (PS, not a bad thing)
Steve Fryette and Randall Smith were (and, for all I know, still are) friends.
If anyone gives this a thumbs down, I swear to goodness, I will egg their house.
YOU ARE SO GOOD !!!!
🤘😜🤘
I fell on my ass although I was sitting!
Just coped a couple of licks from this video
When you got all the gear at your disposal and you know how to use I.
