Truly one of The Best sounding Amps of all time it takes some beating, I've had an old VHT pitbull 30 in my collection for that particular reason. Beautiful pre amp tone. John.
I've been anxiously waiting for this module release. I have an VHT era Pitt bull UL and it's great. Very unforgiving however. It will make you play better because it's so clear even when heavily distorted. The demo videos I've seen come close to the actual sound and this demo is great. The gain stacking is what gives this amp the raw power but it's the EQ that knocks it out of the park.
I still thick a little back on the gain, a touch on the drive and tap on the treble or high because I can't see the knobs 100%. Beautiful now you found it. I'm from N.Y.. Love 😁you guys
This is my first module while I wait for an uberschall to add to the 50w head. I, too, always wanted a pitbull but could never afford one, and now id spend 3k for a 20 some year old UL... i got the head for 1200 on a labor day sale plus 380 for the module, 1600 and now my dual rec and 50w 5150iii are in the dog house. Master volume is like at 3 for full band practices, this thing cuts through the mix and every note is articulate. Goes toe to toe with a peavey invective for chuggy rythm, but with zero feedback or noise. Leads cut over his no problem. Not enough reviews talk about it, but the effects loop is amazing on this thing, you throw delay or reverb on it and it's jaw dropping.
hey man, how would you compare the Uberschall module against the fryette ? I just got my syn 1 preamp with an uberschal module and on my favorite setting (red channel, no boost, pre eq on uppun position) it sounds great but theres way too much fizz and my noise gate can't shut them... Is the fryette better with similar tones ?

I still haven't got my Synergy yet, for me I am thinking the Syn-50. That is my goal. I love my current amp. My current amp the Mesa Nomad 100. Which I run at 50 watts. I am very happy with the 3 channels, plus EQ for solo boost. I use the fx loop for the Boss NS-2 and Empress Para EQ. It is super quiet. Plus, I lowered the V1&V2 tubes with 12ay7 tubes. I use the Two Notes Torpedo Captor 8 to tap a line out to my stereo fx and use stereo pair of Orange Micro Terrors. I just got my Two Notes Torpedo Cab M, which I currently use a H&K Red box for the other stereo image when going amp less. I plan to get a 2nd Two Notes Torpedo Cab M in the near future. I tested wet/dry/wet with the analog speaker sim at the Two Notes Torpedo Captor 8 for dry to mixer. H&K Red Box for left and Two Notes Torpedo Cab M for the right. All 3 signals were sent to a mixer. It actually sounded great with the analog speaker sims and the Two Notes Torpedo Cab M IR. I just can't wait till I can get the 2nd unit. I was convinced to get the Two Notes Torpedo Cab M seeing your stereo dual Two Notes Torpedo Cab M video. But, damn that Fryette Ultra lead sounds great. I know I want the Soldano module, but need a module with super clean and mid/low gain channels to complement the Soldano modules. What would you recommend? I wonder if the Vai module plus the Soldano would do the trick?

It is so weird. Around 30 years ago (I will not write 28 because I think it is closer to 28). I live in eastern Canada, and there was a German amp that I never heard before, and after all this time I never heard another amp that had a sound so intense. It was totally unique. Obviously it was out of my league at 20 years, but I told myself, one day I will find what was that amp, because obviously I don't remember the brand.
