Your phrasing and composition is always off the charts. What an artist you are.
Thanks!
I'll just go ahead and say it for the umpteenth time....Pete. your demo songs are the BEST!
Thank u!
I’ve owned a VHT Pittbull for over 20 years and it’s still one of my all time favorites. Fryette makes great stuff.
Look forward to all your demos! Your endless creativity and awesome playing is a pleasure to see and hear!! Killer stuff Pete!! 👌🏻🤟🏻
Thanks!
Loving your playing and tone, AND the Keef haircut is mondo cool!
Wow @ the amp & Wow @ your demo. Both are incredible.
Wow Pete this is such a fantastic demo of the amp and your lead playing is super amazing! Fryette makes killer amps.
Amp videos and the songs for Amp videos are always the best! Love it Pete!
Thanks!
I have a VHT Deliverance 60.
I absolutely love it.
You’re right about the Hiwatt similarities.
Love the dirty rhythm sounds. Sounds like a killer JMP to me.
Hello Pete, from West Tennessee! Keep on rocking brother.
Yep you're absolutely right Pete. I did think this was a more modern heavy amp. And I was pleasantly surprised. I prefer the more vintage side to it.
Ty Tabor would love this!
Ty could play through a toaster oven and it would sound 🎶 GLORIOUS 🎶😎
He would sound awesome through it, but he sounds awesome through everything.
Intro track was really good. Proggy vibes in the best way!
I think Steven said in an interview with Kristian Kohle that amongst his favourite/most inspired from amps are Hiwatts. Makes sense. Also has plenty of Mark series genetics in it.
Excellent brother. Your playing is killer and so is that amp. Definitely a rock monster
Thank u!
It has a lot of bite and the kind of clean I get by using pedals. Definitely my kind of sound. I have a Plexi set to just before breakup and add pedals. It is so strange to hear an amp that does this right out of the box!!! Impressive. THANX for the demo!!!!
Sounds great ! Great playing and demo!
Amazing clean.
Great video and I just ordered this amp. Appreciate your videos and the inspirational playing.
The amp sounds really great!
That shirt is awesome lol.. amp is wicked...playing sounds amazing
🐈⬛
Nice amp. Have always wanted a Fryette amp, They always sound great.
Sounds phenomenal!
Hell yeah Pete, those are some tasty ass riffs!!! How do you come up with so many good ones hahah. This is the best demo for this amp. Kudos
Thanks!
sounds great - insightful demo
Fane Speakers 🔊!!!!!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Another great video Pete! 🤘🤘🤘
I clicked ”like” while still listening to the ads - because I knew this would great, as always!
Great demo! Theres something about the track…… i dig it!
I felt a Randy Rhoads vibe.
Sounds tough as nails Pete! Awesome demo and great track as usual! Greetings from Down Under sir 🤘
Cool tone. I noticed the evh in there too. Nice
Hey Pete. I use the Fryette Power Station. 50 watts and just about any head you want to use. Really sounds good and great service from the guys. Oh got one of the Pete Thorn II's. The Ocean Turquoise and it's one of the best guitars I have.
Been playing 55 years now and the craftsmanship is second to none. Suhr is one hell of guitar makers. They must have a lot of time getting the neck so good. Best I've seen. The paint job is fantastic. Just thought you might like to know what an old player thought. CW
1:01 great playing Pete
Very crunchy, I like!
That lick at 1:04 is so expressive
Jeez Pete you’ve been practicing . Very creative lead playing 😅 Nice
Thanks! 😃
Hoping you get your hands on the DSM Simplifier X, I can only imagine the insane sounds you could get from that thing.
Wow! First of all your chops are crushing! That phrasing is crazy awesome!
The tones from every guitar had a really sweet chunky vibe! I do love that there was a really nice separation of notes even heavily saturated.
The cleans gave me a bit of Matchless/Bassman vibes. I definitely am feeling this amp!
Thanks a ton!
Great sounds
Care not about the amp. Playing is insane. So good
It would be SUPER KILLER if you and Phil Jamison of Matchless could do a TH-cam video together!!!!!!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌🙌🤘🤘🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sounds killer
sounds great brother
Thank you kindly!
Awesome demo, Pete - loved the intro track (as always)! Did you see Henning’s ASMR demo? 😂😂😂 good for a laugh! Cheers!
Edit: I love your tee!
Nice
The George Lynch tone, with a net. ❤
I love my 84 JCM 800 w/ my EVH Overdrive Pedal 😂✅ 2013 Gibson Angus Young SG. 🤩.
Do you plug the EVH into the high or low?
@@joeylibbs6236 I use the High Input ✅
Pete, How about a Toby shirt for the masses ?
Great intro :)
Great Sounding amp!!! Thanks for letting me know about the guitar. Is there anyway possible you can sign guitar before they ship from the factory since you are close by there? Not sure how that would all work but would appreciate it.
Awesome like everything Fryette made and makes.
I really miss my 2502, almost as much as I miss my X88R.
They were an unbelievably rocking combination.
Pete do you have a trem stopper set up because of the Dtuna or is that fully floating?
There was a guy online that got a great old Van Halen tone out of the original version of that amp!! Better than most guys got with their plexi and varac?
You could sell snow to eskimos dude 👌
What is a good program that is not so expensive to do basic recording like this?
🤘
Hey Pete! Could use some sage advice. Just got a call to fill in on guitar for a John Mayer tribute band. I only have a few days to prepare and there won’t be any rehearsal. I’m listening to the tunes as much as I can. What’s the best thing I can do to be prepared for the gig? Thanks!
Just prepare. As much as you can prepare your sounds, prepare the parts, etc. and then, when you do the gig, there's got to be a certain amount of just letting go and playing. Just be as comfortable as you can and do your best.
@@PeteThorn thanks Pete! Really appreciate it. I will do just that.
DUDE NOOOOOOOO. These are kinda almost affordable and I was hoping to snag one one day. I'm not even gonna look at Reverb right now lmao
I’m trying to think of a time when Pete DIDN’T make a piece of gear sound great and I can’t think of a single time.
Thank you Mr. Thorn!!!!! I’m just curious about why you have never played any Matchless Amplifiers?
Oh I have! DC 30, a bit, back in the 90's... For that style, i became a Top Hat amp aficionado, back around 97 or so... so I was always kinda in that camp. But matchless, very nice
@@PeteThorn That’s awesome!!!! Btw not that you care - I just bought a Kramer Diver Down - and debating on whether to get the motor City Alnico II Black belt or the 1400 Mighty Mite Ceramic Humbucker 9k - - Anyways Champ - thank you for sharing all your work!!!!! It’s really amazing!!!!! ❤️🤘🎸🎸🙏🙌🔊
Matchless are " failed" improved super-vox amps; they attempted to use all kinds of spectacularly awesome techniques to improve a vox AC-30 , and created the DC30, especially for Sir Dr Brian May , which he rejected!!!!!!! That's the only reason that I NEED!
@@timnotbrianmay my sincere apologies, but I firmly disagree. Matchless Amplifier Company do make the DC 30 but they make many more amplifiers that are not based on the VOX AC 30. Do some research - get on the Internet - check stuff out bud….
@@timnotbrianmay Not True bud.
Why not a 30watt version? If there were, I'd buy today.
I say this as a JCM800 50w and 1987x 50w player. It cleans up far better than either of these two but I want a lower output so I can push the gain stages earlier without blowing out my ear drums lol
The Deliverance has a lot more preamp gain on tap than your 800 and 1987x, so it doesn't need to be turned up as loud. 30w is not that much quieter than 60w anyway, but could potentially make a physically smaller and lighter amp if that's what you're looking for.
@northernamplification8894 In part, it's both. If you've played an 1987 you'll know they're incredibly loud to the point where it's unusable at home without an attenuator. That and they're both incredibly heavy.
Sounds a bit dry as all fryette amps do. Cool tho
TH-cam FUCKING REFUSES to play this properly! Constantly dropping frames at 0:35 and refusing to buffer beyond 0:38. I have made one dozen attempts on two different days.
Weird? Hmm I dunno haven't heard that from anyone else! Try it in another browser and see what happens.
@@PeteThorn Thanks for replying Pete, it hurts my soul to see your riffing interrupted.
It finally worked (same browser)!
