@ Nice, I see you’ve finished most of the games I listed in my little database I created when I was 12 in middle school. I had found around 1,300 by 1991. I first written the titles I knew by memory then went to the end page to all the gaming mags, grabs all the titles and threw’em on an IBM and floppy disk.
The Ninja Gaiden series had great cutscenes and good storylines. This game was ahead of its time. Groundbreaking stuff. The actual game was equally great. Thanks.
It’s such a good and complete game. One thing I loved is that for how difficult it is, you’re actually rewarded with a very satisfying ending sequence. Brings home a great sense of accomplishment.
Now 2 and 3. 9 months is plenty of time to practice. As a child that had and beat all three of them I used to record the final battles and endings of games to VHS. This is the only one I actually recorded the cutscenes and the ending battles. It was hard watching you stumble through 5 and 6. Its been 35 years and I can still remember the patterns I had to master to ensure I had full health and life for the final trio. I did learn new tricks from the boss battles you did that make bosses much easier from this. Thanks!
The jump n slash move or as I like to call it the slash n jump move, that move decimates all. I used to carry it to each of the bosses and kill them with 1 hit, that is if the game doesn't take it away, mostly the last 2 since it disappears when you fight jaquio. There is a reason why it wasn't given again in the 2nd and 3rd games.
