This is an epic walk through... I had this game growing up and came NO WHERE CLOSE to beating it lol. The game play and dynamics were so fun that I didn't even care, I was perfectly happy playing the same levels over and over again.

I was blown away the day I came home with this. Tecmo nailed this and it’s arcade version. This had to be the first cinematic cuts ever on the NES. Definitely a breakthrough in gaming. 10 Starts

@ Nice, I see you’ve finished most of the games I listed in my little database I created when I was 12 in middle school. I had found around 1,300 by 1991. I first written the titles I knew by memory then went to the end page to all the gaming mags, grabs all the titles and threw’em on an IBM and floppy disk.

Now 2 and 3. 9 months is plenty of time to practice. As a child that had and beat all three of them I used to record the final battles and endings of games to VHS. This is the only one I actually recorded the cutscenes and the ending battles. It was hard watching you stumble through 5 and 6. Its been 35 years and I can still remember the patterns I had to master to ensure I had full health and life for the final trio. I did learn new tricks from the boss battles you did that make bosses much easier from this. Thanks!

The jump n slash move or as I like to call it the slash n jump move, that move decimates all. I used to carry it to each of the bosses and kill them with 1 hit, that is if the game doesn't take it away, mostly the last 2 since it disappears when you fight jaquio. There is a reason why it wasn't given again in the 2nd and 3rd games.

@retronate the "title" of a game, doesn't affect the gameplay of the game. It is simply the name.
It's as pretentious as calling a movie a "picture." It's not, and you know that.
As an example, game sack is obsessed with parallax. Incidentally, they use the word "title" too. Graphics are probably the least important part of a game. I point you towards master of monsters, civilization, or gain ground.
They are also as bad at games as James Rolfe. Incidentally, he's a collector, and not a gamer, regardless of how famous his short films have become. Love AVGN, but it isn't even him, it's a caricature of Mike Matei.
Collectors and gamers aren't the same people. You come off with some seriously vicious collector vibes.
