I feel as though I have learned more about Laphroaig from Emma and Brianna than I ever did from Munchkin Farmer Daniel and Hipster Rex. Also seeing Brianna's expressions when tasting the 2 whiskeys was priceless.

This has major old school Whisky Vault vibes when Rex was still learning about different whiskies. Obviously it's cool having two peoples who I understands preference to relate to when it comes to whisky reviews, but it was fun having someone learning about whisky, and this really brings that vibe back. Wonderful episode, best April Fools 'prank' video I've ever seen!

If it were me I'd have them both up! Lagavulin for me is the quintessential thick smoke Islay whereas the Laphroaig rivals Springbank for the briney iodine, more medicinal malt.

Absolutely Emma! I do love an Ardbeg Uigeadail, but Laphroaig (particularly the cask strength) is THE iconic Islay malt. (Daniel even said so many many episodes ago).
