Irish Whisky! (Or is it whiskey??) Whatever the case, we have a nice selection of the famous spirit available on the island of Ireland. Fun fact: the Irish for "whiskey" is "uisce beatha", which directly translates to "the water of life"...the more you know! So of course, we sat down a number of our resident Irish People to see what they thought.

I think the font she was aghast at on that bottle of grain alcohol was actually called Clara? I used it on a cutesy invitation to a mock baby shower back when I was in high school. I loved playing with fonts and graphic layout and was always the one to set up invitations to events for our FFA chapter. .. someone shouldn't have let a kid play with the font on that lable though 🤮

That Paddy story inspired me. I want to buy a peanut farm, make peanut butter, and name the brand Dermot. And then send samples of all of my candies and peanut butter snacks to the Try Channel so they can all, especially Dermot, give their opinions on the taste of Dermot Peanut Butter snacks.
If I worked there, I'd have him shoot one of these videos and just have a jar of peanut butter there for him to look at. He'd probably be spending the whole shoot wondering when his old nemesis would finally make its presence known, then as the last part was about to start, I'd walk over to it (again, in full view), bring it over to the table...and put it away in a bag.

Winter in Milwaukee is the penance we pay for Summer in Milwaukee... Cream City is the city of festivals... There is a block party somewhere in the city every weekend plus festivals at the Summerfest grounds... Summerfest itself is the biggest music festival in the world... Honestly, the weather is not bad from late March through the end of December... We don't get -10° for a day time high most years... I've lived in a few places and I love this city...

My perception of Bushmills will always be my Granny saying "That's my medicine, before bed" when I pointed it out on her bedside table.
This is one of the best videos you've ever done, I have to say, and it's largely because of the contrast between Dermot & Martin versus everyone else. As an American I've always preferred Irish whiskey to anything we produce here in the states; Tullamore Dew was one of the first liquors I ever had and Jameson has always been my favorite drink. That being said it looks like I'll have to find some of that Kilbeggan and give it a good TRY, it looks absolutely lovely!

I really don't understand you, I'd take a lower end Bourbon over the Whiskeys they tried every day of the week, but to each their own I guess :D
Whiskey has a lot more balanced flavours than bourbon. But...bourbon is easier to drink.

I later found out that "a drop of the map" was a glass of Paddy due to the label. There y'go now.
