21:10 and 23:00 are wild and a very difficult concept to practice in your knowing.

I listen to him every day. But I must admit it is hard to go through regular abuse and then take so much blame for it as if its ridiculous to be upset. I am the only one making myself unhappy. Just start feeling love. Its me and not my environment. I have always taken the blame. How do I do this without shame of having a hard time with it?

be kind and compassionate with yourself, as you would someone else you care about in your situation; there is nothing wrong with feeling emotional reactions to abuse and if you can escape that situation you absolutely should! it isn't about blaming yourself as that is just adding more thinking and pain, and based on a deeper issue of not being kind to yourself. if you feel an emotional reaction, relax around it (if you can) and allow that emotion to be there if it wants, without trying to change it (IF YOU CAN) and then keep practising that. stay relaxed whenever you can. and this was very important for me: make your goal to be as happy or peaceful as you can internally, and to have genuine self love. that might help you move past the shame and stuff like that because then you hopefully will try to think kinder, more loving things towards yourself and notice that you are worsening your pain by constantly thinking blameful things about yourself and judging your own practice. give yourself the love and kindness you deserve so that your mind is more peaceful, not less. always aim for greater peace and happiness and change your thought patterns or practice accordingly. there's nothing wrong with changing your environment or thinking, particularly at a stage in your practice when you simply aren't at the level where someone like michael singer is. use whatever you've got to be happy, and keep up regular meditation in the meantime! namaste

Just remember what our great teacher says. We are spinning on a planet out in the middle of nowhere orbiting one star of trillions. You are not going to be here long everything you feel , think , see , touch , live is ALL temporary. Everything is energy. The cells in your body , the emotions you feel and even the fur on the cat down the road. Take some deep breaths and don’t be scared anymore. You are made of the same energy that’s disturbing you so much. You can do this. We are all one xoxoxoxoxo

I used to think that is what he was saying also…. “Don’t be unhappy “ and he does say that in a way. The bigger message is that you should feel all your feelings. Don’t suppress your feelings. If you are unhappy be unhappy. Feel it with 100% of your being. If someone is treating you poorly, that is because of them and the eons of things that happened in their life to cause that, not because of anything you have done.
