  • NIssan Navara NP300 D23 Upper Control Arm UPGRADE to Ironman 4x4 PRO Forge UCA.
    I've been waiting to do this upgrade for more then a year. Patiently waiting and researching what UCA's where available on the market to suit the 23.
    I've struggled to get my head around the typical fabricated style tubular UCA as to there finished form I couldn't quite see the advantage to help with Down Travel / Droop... EVERY IFS owners problem...
    When Ironman 4x4 released there aluminium PRO Forge Upper Control Arms to the market I knew right then and there I have to have a closer look at these... With a CNC design and using Forging technology. The shapes and profiles that have been created are next level.
    I learned a loads of technical detail during the process with Kristian & the Team at Ironman 4x4 & had plenty of fun along the way. I hope you can also take away something from this video.

    What size lift did you have before the new uca's and what size did you upgrade to? 🤟

  • @kghuamin4077

    I’ve bought iron man forged uca but with stock coils in front , solved the problem hitting the top strut mount , but the articulation or play of the suspension not that good , would you reckon if a change my front coils?

    What I like to know is, where is Ironman 4x4 foamcell pro kits and pro forge upper control arms built?. Are they made in China or Australia or somewhere else?. My mechanic was dissin on ironman cause he said they’re Chinese made, which might be a misconception on his part?. Cause I thought they were American slash Aussie manufactured. I’m in the decision of getting a full suspension kit for my Dmax from Outback Armour (adjustable bypass shocks) and buy the ironman pro forge control arms. Or go full ironman 4x4 foamcell pro kit with the pro forge upper arms.

    How long do the greaseless IM ball joints last? Any warranty on the bushings and the UBJ?
    Also, how easy is it to replace the UBJ?

  • @JudasBytes
    @JudasBytes 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Does the Ironaman4x4 UCA work on 2017 Ranger? Are the balljoints replaceable or serviceable? How come there's no cover on the balljoints? I do not believe dust won't be able to go inside the balljoints!

    I have a question for you and I would like to know if you can tell me if it is true that the ironman nitro gas shock absorbers go well with the standard original trim and can they be adapted with the +5? I have a Suzuki jimny 4x4 with m13a petrol engine 1.3 lt petrol with factory standard shock absorbers and suspension set-up yesterday afternoon I picked up the new ironman nitro gas shock absorbers and the 4x4 spare parts dealer in Florence told me that these ironman nitro gas shock absorbers are fine for 4x4 off-road vehicles with a standard factory set-up or in a second I could put the springs higher and it becomes a high set-up +5 is it true? Greetings from Florence Italy!

      These look identical to the Nismo upper control arm. Probably the same thing.

    Maybe it just me but There aren’t much differentiate of the gap between strut bucket and OEM UPC arm vs to ironman. Does it worth to pay for the upgrade ?

    What are your centre of wheel to guard measurements at ride height and droop now? And why wouldn't they do a caster split to stop it wandering off to the left?

    • @racinsadventures597
      @racinsadventures597  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That last tweak was done on the geometry just after I ran the camera across the numbers... but that’s ok..... good pick up mate 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 I currently have approximately 75mm droop... only limited by the Shock downward Travel ..... there is still downward available if the shock would allow it 👌🏻

    • @yourmotherlovesit
      @yourmotherlovesit 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@racinsadventures597 ok cool, so centre of wheel to guard height is about 540mm? (Or 590 if you have a body lift) putting current droop at 615mm?
