Storage units burglarized without locks being cut

If a person has locksmith experience you open pretty much any lock. The police should know that. Like someone else said where's the security video.

In Idaho I lost $15k of items. On the left side a thief bought the unclaimed unit and took screws out to open up the wall.
I lost my insurance case because the police report said right side when my video showed left side. Police wouldn’t correct it.

I suspect this (inside job) has been happening at our storage facility. I'm thinking of talking to attorneys to see what recourse we have.

Those locks are worthless, many storage facilities force you to use their locks. I always use my own lock, a German made Arbus.

Lol "mysterious" someone simply picked the locks. Need something good like abloy I see abloy or other high security locks as more of a tamper seal because if someone else gets in it's if they wreck the lock or door

You have to have insurance to rent a unit- the facility charges you an extra 10 bucks a month but he prolly did like everyone does and got the lowest they offer which is a psyout of about 2000$- but check it…. Trip on this, right… the insurances for storage units only pay out if its visibly broken into- meaning, that since he had his lock picked and there was no sign of forced entry, theyll 100% deny his claim and there aint a fuckin thing he can do about it and if ge wasted his money suing the insurance, the courts have already set precedent and will follow that and side for the insurance cause they claim hevnever got robbed, that hes trying ti defraud the insurance company…
