I'd love to see the actual work better. The angle of the camera shows you and you product wall more than the project and process. I also agree that the music is too loud.
Well there are so many effects you can get But I have 24 cabinets to do.. So I gotta get going a bit faster. But we learn from watching interesting how so little of the small wax tin is used. How do you thinks waxed doors will get on in a kitchen where certain drawers they get us a lot. Is wax fine .. I suppose we can re wax them if they get grubby that's dirty
where do I find the large tin of wax? I went to Ace to buy several cans of paint, but only found the small tin of wax. in Amy's website only found the small as well. thanks
1Hi Cat, Amy is using her One Step Chalk Based Paint. It comes in a variety of colors. Participating Ace locations can color match if you want a particular color. Hope that helps!
I wish the camera had an inset of the view of the painter, looking down over the board... or reverse. If I could see her project from her point of view, with an inset of her instructing the audience, I think that would have been better.
Amy, someone has added a background of very repetitive synthetic 'music" behind this video. You and Gene are a "stand alone act" and such distractions as this background "noise" should go away, in my humble opinion. Thank you for all your mentoring of those who love o restore the work of others from time past.

Amy..big big fan. I refinish cabinets as my business. Can your was be clearcoated in a kitchen to prevent damage from food/cleaning/heat?
what can he used as a final coat with your chalk paint if we dont want that white film "ajtique" look?

Using paint thinner to loosen liming wax does not remove the paint from the cabinet door?

Did she say what time of paint she was using, other than the colors??? Is it chalk paint or just matt latex??
