The wait is over! My 2020 Yamaha R1 can no breathe a little easier. The guys over @MotovationUSA set me up with the SC Project CR-T exhaust for the bike and woo-ee this thing is gnarly! I got the carbon fiber version of this titanium exhaust. After 4 months of silence, this bike is finally ready to scream. The starting sound and the sound from down shifting are so underrated
When you switch out the exhaust you can force the ECU to recalculate the idle, by flipping the power switch on and off a few times. Check the maintenance manual it explains about idle sensor.
What does it do to the sound?

Loved the vid! Damm this is awesome. Don't know if you are or not but when doing the exhaust sound turn the mic adjustment down like -20 or 30 dec and then turn the auto adjust off and then ensure a windsock (deadcat) and if your camera has a wind filter mode too. Hope it maybe helps.

@TheAdeebster yeah exactly everyone has a different taste mate.. but i'm not saying that they don't have nice exhaust systems though because they do and with amazing sound, but I just didn't like how it looked on the R1.. I prefer shorter exhaust looks like from Sc project and Austin racing, those are my 2 favorite brands when it comes to sound+ looks you know 😋 what's your favorite all around?
Good to see you cleaned your finger marks off so they do not burn in.
It would be a good idea to the smog block off plates before you get it tuned properly otherwise you can not get a correct Air Fuel Ratio

I highly suggest you get an aftermarket air filter (K&N or Sprint) and get some block off plates for the Smog system before dyno tuning the bike fully. Maybe even a flapper valve delete.

I know the 2020's haven't been unlocked yet but have you ever looked into Xplane Custom Tuning? I had him flash my ecu and it was amazing. Came highly recommended because his specialty is R1's.
