Questions: 1) re AI generated cover art for a single or album - it seems has its own risks, what are the terms around DistroPic images? On Canva for example you can create AI images with prompts and they say they do not guarantee that it is safe to use for commercial use because AI terms in general in the world are not as clearly determined yet.
2) you mentioned registering in the performers association, do you have a video on that? (and does it differ if you live outside of USA? In Canada or Europe for example.

I'm an independent artist/producer from Nigeria and I intend on signing up for the label plan $80 I was in the process of making my research when I came about the tax aspect of everything... I was told by a friend that it's usually hard to get paid when you are not able to provide all the tax info which I can't since I don't live in the states... So please what can I do about the tax

I have a question relating to Distrokid. If I get a membership and realize I want to cancel in the future. When I buy a legacy do I have to pay for every song in my catalog that I put out with them or only the songs that are pending for release? Lol.
You have to select leave a legacy for EACH release if you want to use it
So regarding DO #4, would it be better to not select TH-cam as one of the options on DistroKid and just manually upload on your own channel?

@@ZigZagProductionStudio Can you explain why? If you want fans why wouldn’t you want them playing only the videos you make, with all your added content in the about section, end screen to direct them to other vids etc. especially if you don’t get watch time credit etc?

Hello I have a question no one seems to have the answer to. I originally subscribed to the label plan (5 to 10 artists) then a year later by mistake, when trying to renew my subscription (I didn’t know it had already renewed automatically) they accepted my “second”payment as an upgrade payment and put me on the label plus account (10-20 artists)!
So currently I’m paying a fortune yearly and every time a released is renew I am charged with the extras too. I’m desperate and don’t know what to do!!! So frustrating!
Do you know if I was to downgrade by canceling my current label account and subscribing again to distrokid but this time to the musician plus account, will I have to pay for all the uploads individually again? I have 7 releases of my own and 26 from other artist. That will be a fortune for me to pay at once!

‼️PLEASE TAKE NOTE‼️ I already tried reaching out since last year right when it happened with no success, to ask how it all would work out, but there’s no one available only bots. There’s no way to reach out a human. Only automated messages programmed to send articles containing key words on my question. The only option I found on the hundreds of articles they reply with, was to cancel and subscribe again, then re upload. No option to transfer anything. 😕

it helps protect your music from people stealing it and uploading it as theirs
I don’t have full songs but just the music without vocals and most are just 1 to 3 minutes long. Can I still use these tips?
It depends on your approach - are you looking to sell beats or release them as finalized tracks?
@@ZigZagProductionStudio sell them, I may do full blown final tracks later.
I don't think DistroKid is good for that personally, you could run into some issues
