Correct it is for C4. I had an EOD Gerber back in the day that had the same punch, but I think I like the new leatherman EOD tools. Less cost than what Gerber was charging many great features.
This is a specialist American EOD and explosives tool that, with care, could be used on European explosives, but non-explosives users would be better off with the standard MUT, which is primarily aimed at military users.
The only thing of interest on this version of the ST300 is the fast blade changer, changer not mounted on the Surge. Thirteen minutes of gossip and not a word about this innovation!
@@MyUnquenchableThirst The blade exchanger of the Surge is different from that of the ST EOD: the blades of the Surge do not fit on the EOD which is adapted to standard jigsaws with quick change and locking on insertion.
@@MyUnquenchableThirst The ST 300 EOD adapter is limited in blade thickness, the Surge blades do not fit. But the Surge blade adapter accepts all blades (with T-fit).
Listen here guy, you won't be using any of your own tools on your work. That's F.O.D waiting to happen. You'll be using the cheap standard issue tools that are assigned to you.
When it comes down to explosives and EOD I use a very scientifically proven method, I make a request for "special annoying people", put a blindfold on them and tell them what to do, or well what they want to do, but on a side note is that a can opener or was that made for cutting into tanks!
heinnie rip off haynes. allways shop around before buying from here, plus their delivery times are no better than other retailers, ie amazon prime.... example olight flashlights nearly twice the price than on amazon
the punch's primary purpose isn't for weapon takedown, its a c4 punch, for priming plastic explosive
YOGSCAST Smilodon and the carbide tip is for glass breaking.

Lol right!

very nice review ..... thanks
What's the black section on your Wave? How did you install it? I love seeing Wave hacks.
Cool video. Not too many reviews on the eod model but nice job.
Good video Tom
That’s a monster tool
how do you remove the hacksaw blade?
Can you connect a lanyard or a pocket clip to this model?
not like the ones for the Surge or Wave if that's what you mean.

you mean the blade changer that IS on the Surge?

@@diezelle57 oh interesting but why can't you use the same ones in the ST EOD? you can use any T shank tool with the Surge

Good review, thanks......what is the price point?
Thank you! Current price £107.95
amazon much much cheaper
On leatherman's website it is about $100
The blade looks so different, is that an other blade than the normal?
yes the normal ST300 does not have the serrated portion on the blade
Hey Im joining the Navy as an electrician, do you think this would be a decent multitool for me?
Devin Shook no. there are multi tools that are specifically for actual electrical work. this one is more geared towards eod and combat engineers
Listen here guy, you won't be using any of your own tools on your work. That's F.O.D waiting to happen. You'll be using the cheap standard issue tools that are assigned to you.
true that
I would recommend the leatherman surge or wave can’t go wrong with either one

a bit too many flat screwdrivers for my taste, but a lot of good stuff
@ 2:22 that's the same cleningrodd atatchment
oh yeah it's just showing through the body when closed. good point
Even a one inch knife that locks is an illegal carry in England. Only sub 3 inches and not locking is legal.
wrong, just good reason to carry is all you need to carry locking knife, do homework
good
what is the meaning of EOD
