I never owned any acoustic amp but bought this recently because I added the LR Baggs anthem to my old Taylor 214. The sound coming out from the blackstar is simply fantastic. I'm not sure is the sound of my Taylor + LR Baggs just sounds good or is the amp makes it sound good. Either way i like the sound it comes out of the amp and i basically set everything flat at home and just played around with my piezo/mic blend on the LR Baggs system. Lots of feature from the amp and most important light weight and small to store away.
Blackstar Amplification For me the sonnet would be the perfect amp for busking if you add to it a battery 🔋 because of it’s true signal and great tweeters
Seems nice. No prices anywhere yet. The thing that puts me off acoustic amps is the relatively high price compared to ordinary combos. If you are reasonably pricing (taking features into account of course) then you've got me. It'll look nice next to my other Blackstar amps! :)

The streaming function is not working. It gives audio signals but also terrific noise. I tried several TRRS cables. Expensive ones, cheap ones. However none work as shown in the video. I use iphone 12 pro with apple converter(lightning to TRRS). I tried to use the DI out for streaming. That also gives noise, plus time to time clipping of audio. I then tried the usb output for streaming. The sound from microphone can be heard clear but the usb output did not carry guitar channel. Please guide!!
Do I need to download app to allow me to record to my phone as I can't seem to record to my phone although I've the correct adapter to link my phone port and 3.5 jack to the live stream input on the amp

I've got mine today, I love the sound and it's amazing! But the streaming feature doesn't work with a TRRS cable (TRRS socket on both sides) on my android phone. Any advice to make it work? Thanks
Hi, sorry to hear you are having troubles with the TRRS functionality. This input should work the same as having headphones with an inline microphone. If you have some headphones like this, please try the same setup using these first to ensure functionality - once this set up is confirmed working, exchange the headphones for the TRRS cable. One thing to try is plugging in the TRRS first into the amp, then into your phone. Try doing this both before and after launching the application you are trying to stream with. If you’re still having issues then please let me know more about your setup. Brand and model of phone, cable brand used, application used.

@@Blackstaramps Hi again, sorry to bother you but now I have another problem: when I connect my headphone to this amp, the sound doesn't come out from the headphone but from the amp speaker as if there is no headphone connected. I'm using the same headphone on my ID Core stereo 10 and it works perfectly on it. What is the difference between these two systems? Do I need an adaptor or something to be able to use a headphone with the Acoustic Core 30? I tried a few other headphones but the same result. Thank you for your support!

When I put my headphones into the headphone jack, the sound of the speaker does not mute. I need to manually turn off the Master volume. Is this normal ?
Hi, Sorry to head that you’re having issues with low level output when recording. The recording levels are channel specific, try using more preamp level and less master volume level. Though the recording level may seem low, this has been set to never clip the usb output when playing loud. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you need more advice.
@@Blackstaramps hello. Thank you for your reply. Having uploaded a recording to TH-cam and Facebook, your amp’s levels work well with the auto gain adjustments on both platforms. I have put a Fishman preamp between the gaiter and amp and I really like the meaty midrange sound that is coming out now.

The sound of my Taylor nylon string through this amp is remarkable. I owned a Loudbox Mini for a while, but the Blackstar is just as impressive.

If your trrs doesn't work correctly connect the USB right to your phone with the proper cord it should work. That's what I had to do.

What kind of trrs cable works for stream cause with the rode it doesn't work at all...nothing but bzzzzz

I don’t get static or buzzing, but the recording output level into a phone or tablet is very low.
For the mic input, is it only dynamic or can one use condenser mics? I don't see a phantom power switch. That is not a deal breaker just curious.

Hi there, yes this is normal. It is designed to give the option to record from the 3.5mm output whilst monitoring from the amp itself.
