Pan, I had a chat with the distributor of Gyeon products in the Netherlands. They strongly told me not to use Glass+ for the interior glass. So no cleaning windows or windscreen from inside using Glass+. They said use only Prep for that cleaning.
I have to tell you, bottling of Gyeon products is second to none. Very cool. Just a short story. Hi Pan, very interesting video. Definitely going to try the new Gyeon + glass cleaner. I know you have recommended Invisible Glass in the past and I have been using it for a while. I apply using a waffle weave towel. The big issue I have is the wipe off using either the recommended diamond weave towel or by flipping the waffle weave towel……grabby or what!! Can hardly move the towel across the glass without it bunching up in my hand. The wipe off with the new Gyeon cleaner appeared to be very smooth on your video.
Recent subscriber to your channel and, Well, youve got me hooked on the detailing bandwagon for sure when im looking at specialist glass cleaners. Ive bought several Gyeon products due to your recommendations. This one sounds fantastic but is apparently not available in the USA. Can you please recommend one that is similar ?
Hi Pan. I applied Glass+ about 2 months ago and it still gives me decent water beading even after countless washes of my windshield. I didn't think it would last so long which is a good thing. What about your experience? How long did it last on your car?
Excellent review as always. I use Glaco on my glass and have recently used Glaco de Cleaner and like that for cleaning. I wonder how this Glass+ compares. Thx for the demo!
Awesome video. Gyeon makes awesome products. With protection on all of the exterior of my cars, my drying towels aren’t being used as frequently. Leaf blower does the job!!
Awesome products Pan and great demonstrations! I have used a lot of Gyeon products and they never disappoint. Thank you for all of your hard work producing videos and creating content!
I love this channel because it highlights products that I may have not focused on but I would definitely appreciate having in my arsenal for those specific jobs. In this case I typically just use Beadmaker and call it a day but I see a lot of value in Gyeon Glass+ if I was pumping out a few details on the daily.
If only someone could come up with a glass cleaner for the inside that does not streak, really not streak, really, really doesn't streak and it only needs to be used once in a lifetime. I'll give a go. Thanks, you da man.
Usually it’s not the cleaner. It’s the gunk on the glass or the towel. Try IPA solution and magic eraser before hand and it may help. Klin glass towels are excellent or surgical huck towels.
Streaking usually comes from improper cleaning and/or wrong tools. Not the products. See my inside windshield cleaning tutorial for streak free glass: th-cam.com/video/3rF6keJ88Y8/w-d-xo.html
Looks good, i have tried a few of the cheapies like rainx ceramic cleaner. it works for 1 rain but it gets pushed around and ends up turning to crap. I will give this one a try.
Hey Pan, another perfect video with a demonstartion demo. I have heard that also CarPro will release the Clarify 2.0 which will be a competitor to GYEON Glass+. Any thoughts?
From a previous video of yours I just applied the SOFT99 Glaco glass cleaner and long last rain repellent. The product is advertised to last a year. Will see how long it’s lasts on my vehicle in Georgia USA. Thanks as always.
So I bought this Gyeon Glass Plus. Every time I use it I get a film or haze on the glass. Do you have any tips or tricks I can do to eliminate the film or hazing? Thanks
When you apply it, it's supposed to be hazy until you thoroughly wipe it off, as shown in the video. What kind of prep do you do to the glass before using it? Did you have another glass sealant on there prior to applying this?
I have found that on the front windshield, wiper blades seem to remove protection quickly. Has that been your experience? I also like to occasionally use a clay mitt on the windshield when washing. Thanks for the review and information.
If you have a long term glass coating (like Gyeon View, CarPro FlyBy Forte, Soft99 Ultra Glaco, etc), you shouldn't need to use your wipers often, as they hydrophobics are strong enough to evacuate water quickly when driving. It's all about managing your wipers. But yes, like any coating, friction will diminish the lifespan of a coating over time, that abrasion slowly eats away at the coating.
After applying Gyeon Quick View followed by Gyeon Glass + as a topper and then traveling a 400 mile road trip encountering NO rain just bug splat how would you safely remove bug splat without removing the rain protection 15:06? TIA, splendid demonstration. Also which brand of wiper blades and a safe washer fluid?
You can use a bug remover, let it dwell a bit (don't work in direct sunlight), then rinse, and wash your car as your normally would, it should come off no problem. You can even use a glass cleaner. For wiper blades, Bosch usually make great ones, or even the stock OEM ones as long as you change them every year or two. For the washer fluid, the best I have ever tested is this: bit.ly/3V1MkWe
how does this compare to Chemical Guys HydroView if you've tested it. I bought that a few months ago and have used it on the car windows inside and out, house windows, mirrors, pictures, china cabinet, TVs, kitchen appliance displays and my eyeglasses. I'm always open to better stuff. This general type of cleaner/ repellant is awesome. My Hydroview is about empty, I may try a bottle of this if price is similar.
I use steel wool then I use Soft99 glass compound. Dry windows then I use Nextzett glass sealant. Ceramic coating level of beading. I always get new wiper refills when I recoat every year.
No. If you plan on applying a glass sealant or glass coating, don’t apply any protection on the glass before. So you would wash the car, decontaminate the glass with a claybar, the IPA wipe and then apply the coating or sealant like QuickView. Same applies to paint. You wouldn’t apply a quick detailer on the paint before apply a ceramic coating. Coatings need to bond to a virgin surface.

Thanks Pan for another interesting video. I've applied Gyeon View to my two cars last year and I have experienced wiper judder and smearing at times. I currently clean the car with Gyeon Glass. The wipers were new and I applied the coating to the rubber as per Gyeon video instructions. I'm curious to know how this product performs with judder and smearing. I'd consider using this as a topper for my ceramic coating, if it solves these issues.
Judder is more often due to improper prep of the glass surface prior to applying the product, or incorrect application procedure or conditions. I like to wash the vehicle, clay the glass, once the car is dry polish the glass with a glass pad and glass polish, and then use an IPA or paint prep spray (like Gyeon Prep) to prep the glass. Then, application is a breeze and I never get wiper judder, as long as you use a quality product.
@@PanTheOrganizer Hi Pan, that exactly what I did to fully prep the surface prior to applying the ceramic coat to the glass. I watched the Gyeon video and followed the instructions. They advised to apply the coating to the rubber blades which I also did.
I followed your intro and started using the wet coat, what an awesome product from Gyeon Glass + vs Hydroview Quick view vs Flyby30 Pleaseeeeee 🤩👏🏻 Thx Pan
i used Wet Coat, on my glass, and it did a perfect job. so why i should buy Glass+ ? is it marketing strategy? or Glass+ is more e ffective? do you have a comparison video?
WetCoat lasts a bit longer. But both are similar overall. If you want a better glass coating, that is longer lasting and works better on glass, get a glass specific sealant or coating. Gyeon has this one: amzn.to/47Lu2Oc And this is my favourite DIY glass coating: amzn.to/3SQdikC
I know some harsh on sponsored videos. You are always clear about that, so no worries, thanks. Stop the hate. Great video! I know you love these products and are showing true tests. This looks like the old school Rain-X refined many times over. Wonder if this is a good topper for Glassparency? I really like their product as a coating. I’m sure I’ll like this product, too. Again, thanks for the videos and providing all the information that you are able to on the chemicals!
Great video Pan. I have a question. I ceramic coated my car last summer with adams advanced graphene ceramic coating and my glass too. My entire roof is glass from the windshield all the way to the back window. My question is can I use this on top of the ceramic coating for that extra protection and beading or do you think not to do that? Thanks for all that you do 🎉
It depends what country you are from. It’s not available everywhere just yet. Links in the description under the video. If you're in the USA, here: bit.ly/3UpjT4s
Thanks for another great video pan. But seeing how most quick detailers can do the same thing is that product really necessary or does it perform better on glass than a quick detailer like technicians choice
Thanks for watching! The Gyeon Glass+ is a glass cleaner + repellent in one. A quick detailer isn't meant to clean. So if you need a product that cleans and adds a bit of protection, use Glass+.
Not sure about non automotive use haha. I also bought the new iPad Pro M4 with Magic Keybord!! Congrate! Sweet machine. Welcome to my channel. Hi- Great videos BTW.. I know you mentioned this can be used on touch screens and black gloss bits inside the car.. assuming this will work on lexan or polycarb specifically motorcycle windscreens and helmet visors ?
Enjoyed the video. This is another brand that I find myself gravitating towards and of course, your opinion on these reviews goes a long way. As you've mentioned, a bit more on the pricey side and I wonder if the attractive packaging is to blame for that. I think the products speak for themselves, other brands with similar technology are as great but keep the packaging to a minimum and more affordable, perhaps this is the reason?!
There are many factors that influence price. Not just the packaging. Quality of raw materials, expertise of the chemists, location where they are blended (if overseas, shipping them to North America is costly, etc). And of course how much profit a brand wants to make on each products sold. Welcome to my channel. It would be even better if they made a washer fluid concentrate like angelwax to maintain it at least a bit.. as usually the place where the wipers are degrades the quickest
great review Pan, will need to see how this stacks up against AM Rain and IW Spotless+. I have my Outback and shower enclosure protected with Spotless+ just now. smart looking triggers. was a big fan of Gyeon Glass, having used it a few years back.
Hey Pan, i having major issues getting very hard to remove residues on the glass, do you have any tips? I wipe the glass several times and also wipe with a damp cloth and after that a dry cloth and still there is some left. Besides that it works very well on beading 😊
If you have residue that doesn’t go away from cleaning the glass, it likely needs to be polished. See my glass polishing tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/yMi5PtyqUI8/w-d-xo.html
How do you think this compares to the soft99 Glaco coatings in terms of performance? This is obviously easier to apply and I would expect it to last much shorter
The issue I find with any sort of 'rain repellent' is it leaves like a coating on your glass, not too bad for your side windows but on your windscreen, a couple of swipes with the wipers and it smears like crazy. I hope this product isn't the same as it looks very promising!
Yea I see that too. I just finished a bottle of Griot’s ceramic glass cleaner and it leaves a hazy film on all the glass. Works well but I wanna try something else now.
@Taylor315 sure, each to there own products but it's such an easy-to-use spray. Spray it, spread out with a towel and after 10 minutes wipe off the remains. Thats literally the only thing you must do to prevent the haze.
Still smears like crazy. Was kinda shocked to see it considering the price, brand name and all the claims they make. Will move to other product and no "rain repellent" this time.
@@PanTheOrganizer right, but I guess if you use your regular glass cleaner like Gyeon Glass, then apply Gyeon Ceramic Detailer, you’ve got the exact same result?
Hi I think you need to judge it during the actual wipe. Sometimes due to temperature variation it leaves a smear on wipe. Would be interested to get your view on this. ❤ the video production congratulations
Hi Pan! Do you notice some streaking going on with the new Gyeon Glass+ if you look at the window under direct light? I've used 3 different types of brand new glass towels, and no matter what I do, I cant remove the ever so slightly hazy / streaky look that this leaves behind. Even following your procedure to buff the haze out on a dry side, that minimizes it substantially, but still there. Can only see it under direct light. Any tips?
Glad I found your comment. I just came online to watch this video again after buying 2 bottles of Gyeon Glass +, and just like you, I can't get the streaking out. I've buffed and buffed. And yes, you have to look at it closely and under direct light. But it's really quite bad. It's almost like an oily film. So I took a clean microfiber towel and just pressed it on the glass, pulled away, and it left the print of the towel weave on the glass. Tomorrow I'm going to try another brand and see if it cleans it up.
@@edsexton9836 I'm having similar problem. Also during the rain wipers would just smudge water like its some oil splattered on the wind screen. So far not really impressed with this product....regular kitchen glass cleaner + newspaper gave me better result that dedicated car glass cleaner and microfibres.
Did you actually apply it? Before jumping to conclusions, try it first. If you prep the glass correctly (I would recommend claying the glass) it shouldn't make the wipers judder. I had no such issues.
Thanks for watching! Be careful of applying one glass repellent over another though. You can’t guarantee chemical compatibility. I would strip the previous protection before applying.
Does CarPro Clarify have any protection included? I always find my glass beads really nice and I haven’t used anything apart from Clarify so far. Just waiting to apply Soft99 Ultra for some nice weather
rain x leaves a glaze especially when theres fog or high humidity..thats a very important reason why i stay away from products like this..does it create more foggy windows?
It will be approximately the same overall effect except you save one step with Gyeon as it cleans and protects, and you’ll get a bit better hydrophobics with Gyeon.
thanks for the review. However, a better comparision should be Glass+ vs Wet Coat (and maybe vs Quick View ). Since Wet Coat is usable on glass as well
No as they are all different types of products. Glass+ is a cleaner and repellent 2-in-1. WetCoat is just protection. And QuickView is a longer lasting glass protection, not meant to clean.
Hi pan This is Rishabh from india i have been very ardently following you could u pls guide me as i wanted to pickup a glass cleaner i have been using carpro clarify what do you think i should use clarify or gyeon glass cleaner which is the better one out of the two

am i wrong or the right side, with less beading is better, since the visibility is more ? :D .. i would prefer my rear glass to look like the right side, since i can see more clearly, instead of seeing so many beads
It's the opposite. When you are driving, you get air that pushes water beads quickly off the glass, so that's how you get better clarity and visibility. The unprotected side, water doesn't evacuate as quickly, so visibility is reduced (hence why you need wipers). Believe me, once you try glass protection, you can't go without it. That being said, Glass+ is just a light protectant. As I said in my other comment, that are longer lasting full blown glass coatings that are also available. You could use Glass+ for maintenance after that.
Bonjour Pan, encore merci pour tes tutos, même si je suis nul en anglais grâce a ta présentation je comprend bien tes tutos, il y a de bon produits chez Gyeon petit achats en vue pour ma trousse de detaileur
I use Gyeon wet coat on the outside glass when I use it on the whole car, then I just use a glass waffle towel to buff in the haze left by wet coat, I get awesome beading and it lasts ages. No streaks or deposits buffed in until completely crystal clear. On a completely different note, I'd love to see a fabric sealants/ protection products battle. There are a number of next generation fabric sealants like Carpro CQuartz fabric 2.0 and Gtechiq i1 fabric ab V3. I'd love to see how they compare and what your thoughts are. I suspect there are some other new updated sealants coming out as we speak in regards to fabric sealants

I have no heard that.
From a previous video of yours I just applied the SOFT99 Glaco glass cleaner and long last rain repellent. The product is advertised to last a year. Will see how long it’s lasts on my vehicle in Georgia USA. Thanks as always.
You mean the Soft99 Ultra Glaco? Yes that is a great glass coating.
Another great review!! When will Glass+ be available for sale? I didn’t see a link for it and couldn’t even find it on the GyeonUSA site. Thank you.
Here: bit.ly/3UpjT4s
how does this compare to Chemical Guys HydroView if you've tested it.
Looks great Pan! Quick question, what is the water hoze nozzle you use? I've always wondered!!

Garden hose: bit.ly/3qqGePb
Sprayer nozzle set: bit.ly/3u4wuwb
Awesome video!!! Would you clean the glass with this first then with the prep then apply the gyeon q2 quick view?

Thanks Pan, great product demo.
Glad you liked it!
I followed your intro and started using the wet coat, what an awesome product from Gyeon
Glass + vs Hydroview
Quick view vs Flyby30
Pleaseeeeee 🤩👏🏻
Thx Pan
i used Wet Coat, on my glass, and it did a perfect job. so why i should buy Glass+ ? is it marketing strategy? or Glass+ is more e ffective? do you have a comparison video?
WetCoat lasts a bit longer. But both are similar overall. If you want a better glass coating, that is longer lasting and works better on glass, get a glass specific sealant or coating. Gyeon has this one: amzn.to/47Lu2Oc
And this is my favourite DIY glass coating: amzn.to/3SQdikC
Thanks for the updated link to Glass+.
No problem 👍
Hi ! Can it be use on helmet for visors ? Cause repelant products are rly bad and non effective for visors...
See Gyeons video for that: th-cam.com/video/Cn8o8uaT6PY/w-d-xo.html
I know some harsh on sponsored videos. You are always clear about that, so no worries, thanks. Stop the hate.
Great video! I know you love these products and are showing true tests. This looks like the old school Rain-X refined many times over. Wonder if this is a good topper for Glassparency? I really like their product as a coating. I’m sure I’ll like this product, too. Again, thanks for the videos and providing all the information that you are able to on the chemicals!
Great review! Hopefully they think about making one for Mobile Detailers! We are always under the Sun.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for all that you do 🎉
Yes you absolutely can use this to revive your existing coating in the glass surfaces. 👍🏻
Great review! I don’t see the product anywhere for sale.
It depends what country you are from. It’s not available everywhere just yet. Links in the description under the video.
If you're in the USA, here: bit.ly/3UpjT4s
Hey Pan, thank you so much for the videos. Should I just use the Gyeon wet coat for the glass and car or get both glass+ and wet coat?
WetCoat is perfectly fine if you just want to buy one product. It goes on glass too.
@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you sir
Hey Pan. Another great video thx. Can i use these products on a 2022 Tesla Model Y windshield? The wipers are finicky. Thx
I enjoyed this product video so much today that I just went out and bought it. Tks pan 😊
You are so welcome!
Is it safe to use Gyeon glass + on my new M4 11 inch OLED Apple iPad Pro screen? Thank you for sharing your knowledge and advice.
Not sure about non automotive use haha. I also bought the new iPad Pro M4 with Magic Keybord!! Congrate! Sweet machine.

Fair enough, thank you.
It would be even better if they made a washer fluid concentrate like angelwax to maintain it at least a bit.. as usually the place where the wipers are degrades the quickest
Use. Rinseless wash with wax or si02. Ech20 or ONR , there’s a couple others.
great review Pan, will need to see how this stacks up against AM Rain and IW Spotless+. I have my Outback and shower enclosure protected with Spotless+ just now. smart looking triggers. was a big fan of Gyeon Glass, having used it a few years back.
Thanks Iain!
Love Gyeon products. Would like to see how the glass+ compares to Stoner glass cleaner + rain repellent.
What's your favourite product in the Gyeon lineup Wayne?
@@PanTheOrganizer I'm going to say wet coat is my favorite
Hey Pan, i having major issues getting very hard to remove residues on the glass, do you have any tips? I wipe the glass several times and also wipe with a damp cloth and after that a dry cloth and still there is some left. Besides that it works very well on beading 😊
If you have residue that doesn’t go away from cleaning the glass, it likely needs to be polished.
See my glass polishing tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/yMi5PtyqUI8/w-d-xo.html
@@PanTheOrganizer eventually offer next wash I got rid of it but now I hesitate to use glass+ again 😅
How do you think this compares to the soft99 Glaco coatings in terms of performance? This is obviously easier to apply and I would expect it to last much shorter
You can’t compare this to a long lasting glass coating like Glaco Ultra. The competitor to that is Gyeon View glass coating.
Any difference vs rain x or quick beads or seal and shine?
Wonder if it’d be a good booster for TW SnS because that stuff last a looong time on glass
I appreciate all your videos Pan! Thank you very much for everything!
Glad you like them! Thanks for the positive feedback!
@@taylor315 used the meguiars bead booster and no haze to be seen on glass anywhere, one of the best if not the best sealants there is.
@@bradofwar5960 I’ll check it out, thanks. I was interested in the Soft 99 Ultra Glaco coating after seeing Pan’s recent video on it.
Glass plus not available in US?
Yes it is, here: bit.ly/3UpjT4s
Is this safe for Lexan windshields?
Hey Pan, What’s the difference between Glass+ and Gyeon’s Ceramic Detailer spray, since both can be used on glass & provide hydrophobic properties?
The Glass+ is an actual glass cleaner and water repellent 2-in-1. Ceramic Detailer isn’t meant to clean glass. It just adds hydrophobics.
Pam, I have the interior detailer and I love it for piano black. But I would like one that has UV protection. Car pro inner?

Love your channel and have really enjoyed the Gyeon products I've tried so far
Thanks Dana! What’s your favourite new product you tried this year?
Turtle Wax Slick Shine quick detailer waterless wash mist
Great video as usual. Looks like I need to add a new product to my line up.
Thanks for watching!
Is this a better product than the turtle wax HYBRID SOLUTIONS STREAK-FREE MIST glass cleaner?
Two completely different types of products. The TW is just a glass cleaner. The Gyeon Glass+ cleans and protects.
You can’t compare both.
Pan! Any thoughts on Gyeon Quick View vs. the Soft99 Ultra Glaco you reviewed a couple of weeks ago? Thank you!
Ultra Glaco is a competitor to Gyeon View, not QuickView.
I too had the haze.
What should i do if my wipers are starting to jumping after using these types of products?
Did you actually apply it? Before jumping to conclusions, try it first. If you prep the glass correctly (I would recommend claying the glass) it shouldn't make the wipers judder. I had no such issues.
Ooh might try this over my Rain X. Thanks Pan!
Thanks for watching! Be careful of applying one glass repellent over another though. You can’t guarantee chemical compatibility. I would strip the previous protection before applying.
how long does it last? and how will it stand on wipers?
4-6 weeks in harsh weather and 3 months in gentle climates according to Gyeon. I spoke about that in the video.
Damn Geyon is on a roll!
Thanks for watching!
Would you recommend this for glass shower doors? Or is there any product you would recommend
Yes! I made a video on glass showers here: th-cam.com/video/hYVfR_3ssWo/w-d-xo.html

Does CarPro Clarify have any protection included? I always find my glass beads really nice and I haven’t used anything apart from Clarify so far. Just waiting to apply Soft99 Ultra for some nice weather
No protection in Clarify. It’s just a glass cleaner.

8:53 how long can you use the microfiber towel before you need to wash them? Or do you wash everytime you used them? 😮
I personally wash my towels after each use.
Hello, can this be used on windshield and mirrors? Thank you :)
On all exterior glass surfaces.
Any thoughts on using this on the inside of the windows?
There's no point in doing that in my opinion. You want the rain repellent to be outside, it doesn't rain inside the car.
rain x leaves a glaze especially when theres fog or high humidity..thats a very important reason why i stay away from products like this..does it create more foggy windows?
There are plenty of other superior options out there. No professional detailer I've come across would dare recommend using RainX.
Is this worth it over invisible glass for the value? I usually just use invisible glass then rain x.
Great explanation and review Pan!
Glad you enjoyed it

am i wrong or the right side, with less beading is better, since the visibility is more ? :D .. i would prefer my rear glass to look like the right side, since i can see more clearly, instead of seeing so many beads
I am really greatfull that i found your channel! :) you always answer and give lots of valuable information. Thank you so much@@PanTheOrganizer

Bonjour Pan, encore merci pour tes tutos, même si je suis nul en anglais grâce a ta présentation je comprend bien tes tutos, il y a de bon produits chez Gyeon petit achats en vue pour ma trousse de detaileur
Merci! Tu vas apprendre l’anglais via mes vidéos.
In my case I use the Kochchemie PW for all the car and the windows included works well in my case
Good idea!
