Hello Chris, I enjoyed your installation video of the VIOFO dash cam! It looks like it only takes a vivid imagination and mechanical ingenuity to get it installed. I look forward to your review after you’ve tested it out! Be well, Loyal.
Hey Chris! I’m back again to express my appreciation for videos you post to help riders like me with installation of various accessories. I didn’t purchase the same brand, but it is dual cameras. Also, no remote. I actually mounted my dashcam system before watching this video. I wasn’t pleased with my placement of the monitor on the handlebars, and after watching this video I followed your saddle bag mount suggestion. Interestingly, my cameras were already mounted I the exact same position as yours. Thanks again and Ride Safely!
I like that it has the 170 FOV.( Field Of View ) My older Drift Helmet Camera's had that and you don't feel queasy when you watch the footage like the lesser FOV camera's do. Been using VIOFO Dash Cam's for years. In the latest new car we installed the VIOFO A139 Pro 2 Channel works great...
This is exactly what I have been looking for. A clear video, good quality footage to help me figure out how to install my Dual Dash Cam. I am not particularly handy, so this is so great. 🔥✨
Nice I have the Viafo A129 on my truck with dual cameras the recording while moving works great I just have to disable the parking mode to keep it working . I may try this unit on my Goldwing one day .
What's up Chris, I have been looking into cameras for my Goldwing. I was undecided if I wanted to put it on my 2009 or my 2021. I just ordered the MT1 that you put on your 2016. I'm going to go with my 2021 for now. There is supposed to be a parking feature that I'm not too sure about using. Because of the drain on the battery depending on how much it was activated while parked. I've read that you can set it to a certain voltage and have it cut off. I do carry a jump box like you just in case. Keep up the great work and videos. You have become my social media.
Hopefully my video has help with your final decision. I am not familiar with a parking feature on VIOFO MT1 because to unit turns on and off with the ignition switch. If your battery gets too low, you definitely have the right jumper to boost off the battery, good job!
So jealous of all the space on that bike to mount that system. I'm struggling to find a place the main housing will fit, then room for all the wires. I'm a neat freak, and I will not have a bundle of wires flopping around looking ugly, even if I cant see them. Lol. Great video, thanks for sharing. I'd like to see the footage as well as your setup with the app.
thx for the video and well done. I highly recommend to re-locate the front camera, I installed mine on the same exact spot and the camera was touching the fender while driving at some point. One day I noticed a very light scratch on the fender. While you drive the front fork goes up and down, at one point There will be a light touch between the fender and the camera :( . Hopefully You haven't got any scratch yet thx again for the video, great product a bit tricky sometime to sync the phone app with the camera system but all good. Love it
Chris, thanks for the video. I purchased a Viofo but have not installed it yet as I am trying to decide/figure where to put the main unit and cameras. I have a 2018 GoldWing Tour. I thought about the trunk but not sure where to run the wires for the power and cameras. When you drilled into the saddlebag, how are you keeping dirt and water out of the saddlebag from the hole you drilled for the wires? Any suggestions would be great. Do you have an email for better communication? Thanks. Scott
That’s easy, usually to plug drilled holes I purchased a rubber grommet assortment set, I select the size and cut a slit through a rubber grommet to feed the electrical wires. a.co/d/csZMoin
hi Chris, i'm installing a camera system on my 2014 goldwing and i'm confused as to the constant hire wire, you suggested a fuse block, do you have a pic as to how this is done?
I have this on my KTM 390 but for some reason I can not join the wifi network - it used to work fine until just recently Any idea how to reset this thing? Or suggestions Cheers mate, nice ride you got 🤤🤤🤤

I’ve had zero issues with the location of my front camera, sometimes it’s just installers fault.

Thanks for the info. Did you cut one hole for all the cords or a hole for each cord?
@@scottg4669 I only cut one hole to push all of the wires through.
Very informative video. Do you have any footage from the unit showing the video quality from both angles?
I will post some footage from the dual cameras soon!

Make sure the unit is powered on, turn on your Wi-Fi discovery on, tap on Viofo in Wi-Fi, then open the Viofo app.
