  • NOTE: A 5 gallon carboy can get as much as 25 bottles! (I need to be very conservative in my estimates! Cheers!) Have you wanted to sell your homemade wine? Before you do, you might want to spend 5 minutes finding out about federal, state, and county wine and alcohol rules and regulations.
Dirty Vineyard is a "How to" TH-cam Channel that shows everything from making a trellis to bottling your own wine. We never thought about owning a vineyard, it just happened. This channel is a lot of “how to” videos like; How to build a vineyard, how to build a grape trellis, how to choose grape varietals, and even how to use a posthole digger. We’ll try to post a new video every week. Hope you subscribe and enjoy.

Just barter with your neighbor who grows pot in his garage and his buddy that grows magic mushrooms in the basement.
    Everybody wins.

Grow your own shrooms bro, it's not that hard. There are kits for it, just like wine kits.

There are a few sites and PDF files floating around the internet going into some detail about starting a winery an expenditures needed. The jist of it was it would take 5-10 years to turn a profit. Could be the wine industry scaring potential startups :) also from what I've read all of the bureaucracy with starting a winery is such a pain that people hire experts to navigate through it.

I agree with every bit of that Mr. A. I think the only way to be profitable is to buy an existing profitable winery, which in itself is super-difficult, cheers!

What about just selling your grapes to an established winery? Assuming they have the room/desire for your grapes.

Well, I think 5 gallons makes 10 bottles, wink wink, some people never were good a math, what's going to happen, a knock on your door to count your bottles. It's like if they knock on your door are you going to lay all of your guns out on display for the gun grabber, I would hope not.

We need way, way less governement. These regulations punish businesses AND consumers. They exist pureley because some politician needed to justify their job. I feel zero remorse about accepting "donations" from people, Uncle Sam can pound sand. Ive seen how they spend our tax dollars.
