- Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd says a 2-year-old girl has died and her parents, Regis Johnson and Ahronda Tillman, have been arrested after they allegedly starved their child to death.

Myself i live in Ontario Canada . I've watched alot of videos on here of this sheriff. If all Cops were like this guy. I think the world would be a better place to live. Keep up the awesome work..
I hear the pain in his voice. This is beyond heartbreaking.
My youngest is 7. She was born at 4.4 pounds. She was a tiny little thing because she was short (I am only 5'2" my husband 5' 9") but as she got bigger even though she was small with her cubby cheeks and little chunky thighs in pictures you would think she is a fat little chunky baby, but reality she was a peanut. To not feed a baby then toddler is just horrific!!! A 2 year old should be eating EVERY 2 HOURS! breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner!!! This case brought me to tears.
This Sheriff is the very best in the Nation because he has an incredibly genuine heart and sincere motivation for honorable law enforcement.

@Tah BOO Not odd at all.....So he gets all the attention compared to what? There are other sheriffs that do press conferences in a similar manner. People are interested in knowing what is going on in their community. Many sheriff offices want to be transparent and share their information. Nothing odd at all. The sheriff in Santa Rosa is also very popular.

My first child was barely 9 lbs at 6 months, and we all knew something was terribly wrong. She was diagnosed with a genetic illness, and when I asked for a prognosis, one of the nurses patted my hand and said “Well, I wouldn’t buy her any birthday presents.” That was over 40 years ago, and she is a testament to what good care can do. She has had a normal life, and we are so blessed to still have her around!

The pain and misery that child had to endure was nothing short of tragic and horrible. Long-term starvation is painful and psychological. God bless you and your community. As hard as it is to hear and see these horrible things, it's important to be aware of them. Why didn't the relatives or neighbors inquire regarding the baby? Someone should've reported these people. Not sure if I can really call them people.... I'm just so sad about this.

This is so tragic. During the pandemic so many children were killed and abused bc everything was closed or put off. Yet I promise you all of these parents received the stimulus money and SNAP benefits, free housing etc on the poor children 😞😭💔

I'm willing to bet that in the VAST majority of cases in which parents kill their children, they had been using or completely depending upon public assistance. Johnson's Great Society set up a system in which people came to believe that they were OWED something for nothing. Not even the proper care of their children. The system has us contributing to the abuse and death of kids, and I am sick of it.

So sad, and sickening! As someone who wanted. and tried to have a child for 20 some years, and finally have one, I just can't imagine what this poor baby went through. I’m 55 and due to becoming disabled in my early 30’s i never got married or had kids. When i see something like this i first feel sad but then my blood boils. I wish i had the opportunity to raise kids but life took that from me instead of taking it from these 2 animals.

My youngest son was 8lbs 7oz. 22" long. By the time he was two, he was wearing 4Ts and some size 5. All three of my babies were large. Not chubby, but were proportioned on that graph chart they use for the babies and toddlers.

Sheriff Judd has seen the worst of the worst. I imagine I would need to seek counseling if I were in his position.
The use of the plastic blocks as a visual prop is brilliant. Those blocks are toys this child never got the chance to experience. Shame on the parents. If you don't want the child or can't cope, there are avenues to ask for help, or to put the child into care for adoption.
Every time I hear about one of these cases, my mind starts to race and I think Good God, as we are raging about this case, there are other children right now being treated in the same exact way or worse..

As a mother and a nurse, this makes me feel physically sick. When i became disabled because of my back which now has 16 screws in it, I went without MANY things so my kids could eat. I have NO tolerance for people who could do this. Not when there are food banks, food stamps, WIC, churches who would help you and people who would gladly share whatever they have.
If the parents were eating, there's NO excuse whatsoever.

I have a precious 17 month old. He’s a happy, healthy, chunky, talking, walking, thriving little bundle of joy. It makes my heart so heavy to think they wouldn’t want that for their baby girl.

I wish only the people who can truly love and care for children could have them, and anyone incapable of loving, nurturing and protecting them be sterile and turned down for any adoption until the day they died. It’s a complete travesty, and injustice to humanity that things don’t work this way.

@@katieh8186 we all need to help the children my heart is heavy because certain groups are after the children and it is a declaration of war on innocence. We must protect the children be it being CASA volunteers, helping single moms and dads to just giving them food and clothes and even listening to kids talk about their day. I am finding that children need toiletries ie: toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo soap and feminine hygiene product. So many children are going without.

There are some truly evil people in this world. Just last year in South Korea, a pair of foster parents killed their adopted baby girl (1 year old) by jumping onto her body. The baby didn't die on impact, so they sent her to daycare where she slowly died a painful death from organ failure. The monsters had apparently been abusing and torturing her for a long time. Worst part is, the murderers were only sentenced to 2-3 years in jail. Just horrifying.
This is disgusting that no one, not one person came to this child's rescue. This is unforgivable and unforgettable. May justice be swift, decisive and to the maximum of the law.

I'm sorry for that the police had to encounter such an awful tragedy. I was a pediatric ER nurse for many years. Not many people understand how hard it is to see children who are gravely I'll or who have died. The people in that town need to hear that we care about how they are dealing with this.

It really offends me when people start to find excuses for what these despicable people have done i.e mental health, the system completely let this poor little angel die just imagining her screaming for food breaks my heart until she no longer had the strength to cry... Horrendous..
I can't imagine the hunger pains this poor child went through. She probably stopped crying and trying to express that she was hungry a long time before she passed, because of how weak she must have been. Only traces of fecal matter in her intestines shows how EVIL those two (can't call them people) demons were. Parents are supposed to love unconditionally their children. Prison is to good for them. I sometimes believe that some punishments from the past, from the East would be acceptable to bring to the Western world in certain situations. This is one of those situations.

As a kid hunger is intense when you get home from school and all you can think about is what your mom has made for you once you get home. As a baby that suffered and couldn't even tell someone how hungry she was that was pure torture. Even as an adult I can go like half the day without eating but, that makes me desperate to eat. I couldn't imagine slowly dying over a period of 2 years because I wasnt being fed. Its a miracle she lived that long. She didnt want to give up. 😔
Not to mention a child in that poor condition probably never had attention either. In that babys mind eating was probably the only pleasure it ever got to experience. Like an animal who is left in a room without food for days at a time which is bad enough, but this is a helpless child. I think i would love to be the excecutioner, i sadly believe i would enjoy it.

I think after the first few weeks without food, her brain probably wasn't even working efficiently enough to process & register the feeling of hunger.

I remember Judd's 'Eat a moon pie, quit murdering people' statement, I found the humor in his words. Now I see the empathy and compassion in his words. It brings me to tears that anyone could do this to any child, let alone their own flesh and blood child and his words bring the horror to life to everyone who were to listen. He is right in his anger and shock that as a parent and grandparent, the acts these monsters had done was so heartbreaking and sickening. Polk County has a good man sheriff in their hands. This broke my heart. That’s exactly why I don’t go to church or believe in any religion. I believe in knowing the difference between right and wrong and know that there are consequences to every action we make or take. That’s how I was raised. To tell the truth even when I have done something I wasn’t supposed to do.
My goodness, why have a child if you aren’t going to care and love him/her? I personally have a neighbor who curses her baby and little 6 year old out in the worse way. I’m not crazy about CPS because I have heard of the intent of foster parents and find no reason to have them taken from one bad environment to another where the abusing continues. So I am fighting with myself everyday trying to find out what to do. I’ve learned that when you make anonymous calls, they are not followed up on. We live in a violent world and I am putting my own life at stake if I report this person. Trust me, it eats at me everyday and my own health is affected. This is just awful and I have to do something about the situation that I witness. There are others that are eyewitnesses just as I am but I can’t get their support. There have been 3 times that the children have been physically abused, but mentally, emotionally, psychologically, it’s an everyday occurrence.
Trust me, I will find someone to talk too. I am disabled, a senior, live alone and rarely see or talk to anyone at all. I stay completely to myself and dealing with mental and psychological abuse myself from this unfit, hoodrat excuse of a mother. I live in fear of retaliation but it breaks my heart to witness what I continuously do. Myself and another neighbor tried to help only to get cursed out. The police have been called but they put the burden on me. I need a Peace Order but no one knows her name so I can’t get one. I do know the car she drives is registered to someone at that address and the tags are expired. She has had a warrant out on her since March and again, there is nothing I can do. Any suggestions?

How in God’s name can a two-year-old child weigh 9 lbs??? That’s the weight of some newborns. I don’t imagine the skeleton of a child that age would weigh much more than 9 lbs. My son was 8 lbs when he was born I’m shocked that she was almost 3 years old and only 9 pounds, my heart goes out to all the medical examiners and investigators involved that had to witness such a grim sight 😢

Two men in my family are in law enforcement one is a homicide detective and the other was in narcotics they have seen some bad things
Ya kind of like the grand PA that found a suitcase in his property the other day, in Indiana. He called the cops and opened it, there was a child the same age as his grand kids. He doesn't deserve that.
