The sad part is we the tax payer is getting the shaft because they are wasting the courts time every time they get a slap on the wrist I would rather pay for the criminal to stay for a long time in the jail instead of wasting the Police and Courts time every time they are arrested and released.

Can you imagine being a policeman in any major metropolitan democrat ran dump right now? They would be scared to do anything but arrest the innocent bystanders. You are libel to have a riot Olof you arrested anyone else then be thrown in prison for doing your job. Amazing. Then these people wonder why there is a sixty percent increase in crime. That’s after they legalize most crimes , you can steal up to 1000 and it’s only a misdemeanor. The democrats have caused this. There won’t be a store left in any of their cities soon. 99% of shoplifting is done by those less fortunate.
Since the cost of essential goods and services has skyrocketed in 2022, and thee fact that the government has not resigned the mortgage and rental forgiveness law, there have been many people that have been knocked off the bottom rail into homelessness.
Facts: In 2021....40 million Americans were at or below poverty level, that means that less then $100.00 a month is all that stood between them and the street.
Many of these families were scraping by trying to repay their rent and mortgage at the time of they raised the prices of food, electric, and gas.
Here we are just a bit over 1 year after these hikes and We are now in a Homeless crisis. there are between 7 million and 12 million homeless right now, when in 2021 there were less then 1million.
By the end of 2023 there will be between 15 million and 18 million homeless.
Do you know how many homeless there were during the great depression? I do... 2 million.
This is not a criminal matter where these people are choosing to just steal for profit. Most are stealing to survive.
It is a symptom of a far greater crime.... Government and Corporate greed.
Ask yourself this...What would you do if your working two full time jobs and still can't feed your family that you hardly see?
Be grateful they are stealing from companies that are insured and not you personally.

    • @burmy1552
      @burmy1552 ปีที่แล้ว

@@americatheuneducated3715 They are stealing from you personally. Car and home break ins have spiked. We are all charged more at the store to compensate for theft. I agree with you that corporate malfeasance is at an all time high but crime is not the solution to crime. It's pretty easy to find a job nowadays but ya, many low skill jobs don't pay well. On the other hand, it's easier than ever to gain some basic skills to gain entry to better paying jobs. Excusing crime is unacceptable no matter who is doing it.

    • @romansthirteen-four8626
      @romansthirteen-four8626 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Let’s not pretend that criminals are victims. I am in law enforcement & ministry & people who are poor (as I grew up on welfare & homeless at times) have watched people who weren’t, still turn to crime for easy prosperity - do NOT sympathize with turds. If you don’t work, you don’t eat & you aren’t entitled to prosperity - you work for it!!! Success is achievable if, IF you don’t jeopardize your path by indulging in criminal enterprises. Jail criminals don’t feel sorry for them, because they don’t feel bad for you as they prey upon you.
In 34 years of law enforcement only ONE of the shoplifter arrests I made out of MANY was stealing for survival - the rest were for owning more expensive brands than they needed, but assuredly felt they had a right to.

I worked in a state prison system for almost 24 years. One time I witnessed a classroom of felons learning about antonyms. The teacher said a word and the inmates gave an antonym. All went as usual (up/down, in/out, cold/hot etc.)until the teacher asked for the antonym of “buy”. One inmate quickly responded with “steal”!
While it was somewhat humorous the criminal mind is a scary thing.

It's so crazy how politics have changed everything. Or maybe I just never noticed or paid attention before. The democrats let criminals go free and the right locks up people for drugs. So both are wrong. If you have personal drug problems you should never be arrested and thrown in jail. They need to legalize weed already too. The truth is always in the middle somewhere and the politicians know that and they just play everyone. Even this AG seems good but I could see her punishing someone who isn't that bad just so she looks "tough on crime" and get voted in again.

Every time I see a Polk County Sheriff’s Office newscast, I respect Sheriff Judd and his department more and more. This sheriff and this task force does a great service to businesses who suffer so much from Organized Retail Crime. Many police agencies don’t get involved or realize just how much ORC causes prices of goods to increase each day. I’m so glad Sheriff Judd and his team are working so diligently to fight this problem. ORC occurs in every business in some way. Anything which sells on the street is stolen from every retailer in this country.

i added trackers to all my heavy equipment and anytime one get stolen its found with in 48hrs, i pay a company to install and track and recover my heavy equipment, the money i spend on this service is far less than buying a new machine.
there are many GPS systems on the market to use and they do work.

They seem to gloss over the fact that the criminals only got 45 days in jail the first time and the 2, 3.... Your not putting a dent in crime when the judge gives short sentences.

      They’re being drama queens.
It’s the typical rhetoric on Judd videos.
      “Yay I love Judd”
      “He’s my hero”
      “I wanna have his baby”
This sheriff refuses body cams because they would interfere with his story time…and these fanbois are being all dramatic about it.
It’s similar to how little girls acted towards One Direction, Blink 182 and the Beatles.

Round them up. Cost Home Depo and other businesses money but it also makes our prices go up. Lock them up and let them work like the rest of us for things. Great job, we have the best Police departments especially detectives in the whole world. We got the cream of the crop with Ashley Moody, she is the greatest. Thankful for all of them, great teamwork. Pray daily for all of them. Peace!

@@ph11p3540 Good answer. Getting to the root of the matter several years ago we were doing training for the state of GAl Glennville was one of my locations for a particular curriculum . Stayed in a hotel ran by a fine young man, his wife and their lovely baby. (The baby mostly did cute but little else)
I quizzed the owner why they had no Walmart. I was told Walmart at that time (early 2000's) wants a settled population (not transients from other towns) of about 15, 000 or more local residents likely to shop..
Nowadays fast forward almost 20 years and Walmart super centers are almost everywhere.
I believe based on travel over the US by air and car using Walmart for special diet issues (diabetic issues) and keto/lo carb Walmart likely relaxed that rule too much as time went on and sunk millions into stores all over creation.
Some of which by earlier metrics could not adequately support themselves and grow.
Now comes so many states defunding the police, eliminating cash bail and reducing felonies to misdemeanor charges literally creating catch and release society.
Cops catch them stealing a wide screen TV. Walk out the door and load it in their car.
Get picked up. No cash bail, charges reduced and they are out again. Catch me if you can.
A store in a smaller community or suburb where the margin is a bit thin, if besieged by retail theft due to stupid law enforcement and officials (Not Polk County and Not Florida for sure) the margin minus losses to retail theft and shrinkage (purposefully breaking things, etc) cause the store to go in the red loosing money.
Walmart will ride that for a short time but if the indicators of law enforcement, lack of real confinement and punishment, catch and release along with tight margins it's just better to pull up stakes and leave rather than stay and fight when they have no help curbing the theft and shrinkage as well as razor thin income month over month.
There you go. Law and order promotes prosperity. Lack of it destroys prosperity. Go WOKE Go BROKE!
